Could there be any truth in the Dan Neil rumour.

Fits Dougs normal plan, young proven Championship player, who could possibly make the step up to the Premier league.

Can play either holding in midfield or further forward, and Sunderland are looking to sell him. I know Rangers are interested but think they are reluctant to pay

Dan Neil isn't all that interested in the move to us (not sure if there is even any contact), he wants to stay up north, I think if he can't find anything closer to the end of the window, he may change his mind, but nothing is imminent with Neil to us.
