He said he didn’t expect to bring in another forward saying he was really happy with what he got. It was a classic non answer to a question
I do recall him saying this, probably in the press conference last week. How on earth is it a "non answer" though? It's very clear.

Why ? Id be tempted

I know a Sheff Utd fan quite well and he said the drop off is incredible

Fat, his stats for every metric are below his last few seasons, half arsed in the tackle, basically on his way down and Sheff Utd fans are actually pretty unimpressed nowadays

For me, due to the way he carries himself off the field with his eating habits and find love of alcohol, he has already peaked, and will never get to the previous heights and will be retired by 35

Someone shared his spider graph for this season and it’s better than torps

He's Brazilian
He only cost six million
But, in effect, given we signed him initially for 1 million pounds then sold on him to Sheffield United for 15 million - it's a net profit of 8 million
Gustavoooo
By that logic it's a net profit of £14m as it stands. :D

Brilliant player and he still looks a mile above most midfielders at this level.

However I can’t see Doug as the type of person to go back for a player and I wouldn’t imagine Frank wanting to sign him either, he doesn’t seem like a Frank type signing.

Seville would be a good move

If folks suggested paying £6m for any other fat bloke who's ceiling has been reached and can't command a spot in his strongest position for a team in the bottom half of the league, they'd get laughed at.

This interview he gave with African press just after it fell through is just bizarre and the opposite of what the Greek journalist reported.

Manneh must be a common name over there, it says the article was written by someone called Foday Manneh

How much of that is down to not wanting to be there though? If there was chance to come back here and get back up to the PL I’d imagine motivation would change.

Don’t think it’ll happen, mind.

I suspect there is a lot of identity theft going on then. :D

Forget the on the pitch stuff, just imagine the melt down by blades fans if this actually happened. Our marketing team would milk this for weeks
