Wilson will get more than a few offers and will be offered some decent deals. I can see him going abroad with US being an option.

The only way he comes to us if 1 we offer a deal 2 if he feels sentimental. Other than that we have no chance. I still think we need another FW but don't think its Wilson. Young quick, busy type or a Piroe type to add experience snd a good record in the championship.

But its not a made up rumour though is it? Its a fact, his contract with West Ham is being terminated. This thread is a discussion on would you take him back, would he be interested in coming back, and would he be any good if he did come back. Hardly 11 pages on a made up rumour is it?

A dodgy account linking us and 6 other clubs to Manneh is a "rumour". Wilson terminating his contract is a fact. Whether he'd come back here or not is a discussion based upon that fact!

Hes not coming back here according to FL, so I'd say that's the only fact that matters.
So why are people still banging on about it?

Im pretty sure the manager has confirmed theyre in discussions. He wasnt included in their squad at the weekend and he said discussions will continue on Monday (today). Though its not yet confirmed, you'd think it wont be long until it is.

Let's be honest, what Frank says in an interview about signing isnt always truthful. We all know Doug likes to keep his cards close to his chest. So even if we had a player in the door doing a medical, until its fully finalised and done, do you really think Frank is likely to tell Lorna Bailey?

Also, past interviews have proven what Frank says isnt always right.

FL: Patterson is only training with us as a favour. We're not signing him...

Also,

FL: Bamford is only training with us for a favour. We dont want to sign him (granted, on this occasion Doug didn't, but Frank did).

So until the window closes, im taking everything Frank says in interviews with CWR in terms of signings, with a pinch of salt.

Ive got zero narrative. For the record, I think ive more chance of plaiting piss than we have of Wilson coming back. So please feel free to explain exactly what narrative am I following here? Im just pointing out, that when Frank Lampard tells CWR we're not signing X player, it isnt always necessarily the full truth to the story.

Not saying there’s truth in this but I think Lampard wouldn’t say we are looking at forwards even if we have talked to Wilson.

I think if Wilson says he’s open to coming you 100% have those discussions but also that you aren’t looking at any other strikers.
