Wonder if he’s been told he’s not getting in the World Cup squad whilst being in the championship, maybe after a prem move, I’d prefer to think he’s just on one of those bad runs and bangs in a hatrick Saturday

Who's going to take him in the premier?

Let's be honest, the only 2 teams that have been "rumoured" with interest (WHU and Burnley) are coming down anyway. Unfortunately, we're stuck with a player who's stalling signing a new contract, without any serious interest in selling him either. I think we're stuck with him until at least the end of the season. Every bit of me wants to say, hes staying, let's get behind him and support him. Then he churns out yet another sub par performance where he looks a bit less interested than last time and I think, fuck him, bench him and let him miss his home WC.

Just reading through a thread tonight I haven't read through before. Working on the assumption you've made means that you've got acute problems
You are really obsessed it is quite funny, and an observation a few have made to me about yourself.

The abuse he’s getting is embarrassing - I once dared to suggest Kasey Palmer was lazy and accused of being a tub thumping racist - yet this is labelled at wright frequently - even his hair is being mocked in a strange way - he’s far more committed and it’s just getting beyond a joke

Once dared? you did it frequently, as you did Biamou, as you have Simms. Dont act holier than thou.

I said this on another thread, but for me I am not seeing him fighting or mucking in for anything at all. He seems weak and unable to win any 50/50s or put opposition players under pressure whatsoever. He has a lot of ability but we aren't seeing it.

You would want to give him a chance to get back on form, because we have seen how good he can be, but if you have a player not scrapping or seemingly putting in effort when you need to win games then how much longer to you give them in the team? We have a few players at the moment a little bit off it. That is ok, but you have to roll your sleeves up to compensate. He isn't doing that.

Doesn’t make sense since the US often call up championship players.

And stinking out the championship will hardly secure him a prem move.

For all his limitations, Simms has given his best every time he’s played. Wright is being given prime playing time in his preferred position, a lot of trust from his manager, and is putting in performances that aren’t acceptable for someone expecting to play in the World Cup this summer.

It’s now or never as far as his career is concerned.

No you used to call him a cretin which is worse.

oh dear

So why lie? I always said he was hard working - your going to lie about your gender again to get out of this aren’t you?

Hoping the body language is just he’s pissed off he’s not scoring, just needs a lucky goal anything,
You’d like to think, but it’s been a constant of his spell here and I get it, he seems a bit more reserved and doesn’t go throwing his fists and arms around like other strikers we’ve had.

I’d like to see a bit of passion and fight from him though and I don’t at the moment.

its you're napoleon not your.

I was quite clearly on about the abuse, not the fact he was Lazy.

You go on about Wright being 11th highest goalscorer in the modern era yet Simms is 4 goals behind him and you never shown him a modicum of respect.

I like him but he's so frustrating and well out of form currently. Being honest, he's never really delivered on his price tag, which for us was huge.
