cheers pal, but I'm not in need of a super-duper lappy just yet, as i'm playing FM19 atm on my PC and my HP lappy is just fine for now!

Got cov promoted in second place in my second season on fm26. Chuffed . No new signings just mundial on loan and he didn't play much when I removed wingers from my system

Honestly (been playing it for 20 years) this was the easiest rise I've ever had (I think the engine might be broken) used alot of frees and just managed the team dynamics so they worked as a unit, alot of "high work" rate players

Only time I cheated when my star player broke his leg and I did a reload cause I would destroy me

In some respects it’s easier to start in the lower leagues becuase the AI coupled with poor managers is terrible at squad building

It is bit all over place. I am doing a arsenal Vs man city network game and I'm top going I to last game of season but Brighton and villa have the top 4 spots. Chelsea near relegation zone.

Liverpool are 2 PTS behind and won 12 straight

I am in CL final too first season with arsenal. I am worried it's all gonna end in disaster and no silverware at all

Apologies - my original comment sounds condescending. It’s still an incredible achievement. I was more wanting to say as someone like yourself who’s played it 20 years, you subconsciously can beat the mechanics.

naturally the game evens it out - 3 injures goalkeepers… random flu bugs… star player breaking his leg. (Probably just after the transfer window closes)

its how i enjoy playing the game, i dont like going for top two leagues, as once you;'re up in the CL its boring. (well for me anyway)

a mate of mine swear by going nomadic, and start unemployed and takes jobs anywhere in the world
