According to a Palace supporting mate, Esse is not part of Glassner's plans. That implies he does not view him as potentially Prem standard.

So, two things: he's a loan and to a championship club so that doesn't matter. Secondly Frank's proven ability to improve players may yet prove Glassner wrong.
Or he doesnt fit his system

It's because Glasner plays 3 CB's & wing backs - Munoz ( when fit ) and Mitchell and doesn't play wingers .

I hope this is a joke
No I watched the game! Just like you did, Vic pulled away from his marker he pointed to Leandro Trossard(main culprit) to push it through and the player turned around and sent the ball back! Not once but quite a few times when Jesus came on and in almost identical places he passed it through everytime.

I agree i also think Victor is suffering from player jealousy as well! He has received two passes to him the box in the last two games even then it was backs0

to goal and not down his left hand side? And yet when Jesus comes on as a replacement I counted at least 6 passes to him.
He’s just not that good. He’s a top Championship striker but that’s about it. The Portuguese league is fairly weak. Anyway, I don’t care - we’ve got our cash from his move to Arsenal.

Trossard was never on the pitch at the same time as Jesus.

Precisely we’ve had all the money we will ever get from his moves and he will never play for the sky blues again so I couldn’t give a toss who passes or doesn’t pass to him at Arsenal.

My Palace friend's response

"Well, I'm not sure Glasner thinks he's good enough to play in a 2 man midfield, not yet at least. But he's not been with us that long and I would think he still hopes he can develop to fit the position. Glasner is committed to the system, hence buying Brennan Johnson who has slotted in pretty seamlessly into the role. I guess when Sarr is back from Afcon that would have pushed Esse back down the list so, a loan makes perfect sense from a 'play football' point of view."

Still here 😅 Really pleased with how quickly we moved and the 2 we've added. Will look forward to seeing them in action tomorrow. The added depth on the wings was much needed. I thought we might go back in for Rak-Sakyi but it sounds like they want his move to be a permanent one if possible.
What else you got? Don't beat around the bush.
