It looks a lot to me as though the wheels of the vehicle are turned away from the agent.

At worst, imho, she's trying to escape, not to cause injury, and ICE's own policy seems to be that vehicles attempting to evade should not be fired upon.

There's a good analysis in the CNN report below if you're interested.

Personally, I'm for a genuinely independent investigation to establish the facts, but listening to Vance ranting about 'far left' conspiracies yesterday, and the fact that the federal authorities refuse to cooperate with the local police on it, I suspect that will never happen.

If their guys commit murder they have to be allowed to get away with it, just as if their boss is a nonce's best mate it needs to be covered up, no questions asked. They project onto 'the left' what they do themselves.

Struggling to see how there can be any claim the ICE agent believed he was in danger or being driven at. See worse driving and nearer misses on my commute every day! Not that the investigation will be anything other than a whitewash from the comments and actions we've seen already.

One thing that doesn't seem to be getting mentioned. Why are ICE even getting involved with people who aren't illegal immigrants.

Surely anyone there in any other capacity, be it a protester or independent observer, or even an innocent bystander, is down to local law enforcement not ICE.

Now the situation escalated completely unnecessarily
He didn’t need to stand in front of the car
Even with the car moving he gets out of the way and so no shots are necessary

From the angle of where she is headed I think it’ will be arguable in law that he feared for his life nd so shot the person

I was waiting for one of the Trumpers to post that video as justification, knew it was coming.

It changes nothing. In fact, if anything it makes it worse for the officer.

She says 'I'm not mad at you'
He puts three bullets in her face and calls her a 'fucking bitch'

Absolute c**t, he'll get away with it of course but it's murder.

FOX were using her sexuality as a way to try and smear her character and make her murder seem less bad. The same people who demanded sackings over critics of Charlie Kirk.

I think both panicked. The problem is if you’re an agent of the government you should be trained not to.

Not sure why he had his gun out in the first place (there was no apparent threat at the time), not sure why she ignored requests to get out of the vehicle and then accelerated with him in front of the vehicle.

You just don’t fuck about with law enforcement in America though and this just ended up being a sad totally avoidable tragedy

Their training/rules say not to shoot someone in a vehicle unless they are posing a threat with weapons other than the vehicle itself. Which clearly was not the case here.
