I think Lampard should call out the EFL as well.

Bring up that we keep getting these letters and we keep getting apologised to but things aren’t improving. Say something along the lines of “I’ll probably get charged for bringing the game into disrepute for saying this but it’s the EFL that are bringing the game into disrepute for allowing refs to make such terrible decisions week in week out”.

I really think we should start using his name and popularity to start pressuring them. Write an article in a national newspaper or something.

Yeah he said we get letters after apologising.

What happens to the refs?
What do you think should happen to them?

I’m surprised that people think a public pressure campaign against referees’ associations and the EFL is going to improve the treatment we get from refs this season…

Something needs to be done with the refereeing at this level, been so poor for 2/3 years now.

It feels like the speed of the champ and the quality of the players has exploded int he league outside of the parachute teams to raise the level of the league far passed the quality of the referees.

VAR isn't an option as far as I'm concerned but I'd like to see more being done to improve the levels. What happened to the 5th and 6th officials that were just around the penalty areas? Sky blue tinted lenses tell me we need them more than ever in the champ.

The NFL seems to have dozens of officials for one game, with the amount of money in the sport is it not worth at least trialling the 5th and 6th based around the penalty area again and then even a 7th and 8th on opposite sides running the line?

Quick question, please: do these letters to managers actually exist and who writes them - the referee, their assessor, or the EFL? What is the purpose of writing these letters if no action is to be taken about the issues raised in them?

Lampard has referenced getting apologies for a number of decisions. I'm guessing it's from PGMOL.

Apologies don’t get you any points. The amount of stonewall penalties that have been missed in a short space of time is not acceptable.

Our lead at the top has been halved and frankly, it shouldn’t have been because these decisions have cost us about 5-7 points. That’s without bringing up the Ipswich away game where Hirst should’ve been sent off if the officiating was consistent.

I hate to play the victim but the old adage that ‘it evens out over the season’ isn’t ringing true here.

I’m trying to think of absolute stinkers that have gone in our favour this season, can’t think of any.

We should have a permanent slot on that-every week Gallagher says it should have been a pen!!

I remember last season when Bristol City guy scored that spectacular volley when Dovin was in goal. DG ie Jimmy Summerville sid it should have been disallowed because a Bristol City player was offside right in front of Dovin.
