No idea when we are actually going to get a penalty again at this point. Frustrating match deserved a draw minimum. Defence all over the place again which seems to happen when we switch up personale.
There’s clearly something going on with opposition being given a free card for deliberately fouling against us in the penalty area - The evidence is undeniable.

Thought ref had a decent game but ultimately cost us a pen that if he had a better view would of given.

Another bad day when i seen Milan and Rushworth have the worst games I've seen them have for us.

Thomas didn't touch the defender but you can't do what he did. He would of got away with the kick out but cant react the way he did.

We didn't create that much really. None of our chances were of the quality of Birmingham's chances. Not once did we get the ball behind their back 4. We had twice the amount of changes yet our xG was only marginally bigger. 1.18 Vs 1.45

EMC was definitely a pen, but the the pull is on the shirt behind EMC blocking that from the ref. Poor decision from the ref.
We created more than enough openings and should have done better with the clear cut chances.

We look half a yard off the pace. Almost as if half the team needed resting if we actually had a squad to do so

He had a great view of the pen shout.

I think y'all reacting over the top. We were clearly by far the better team that got caught out twice, which can happen. We dominated the possession with some 80% of the ball. We ran out of steam rather than bombarding their goal. Brum were there for the taking. Rudoni much better, Simms good and Eccles putting in a shift. We looked much more ourselves with the return of DaSilva, Thomas, Tats, etc. We may have overplayed a bit at times instead of being more direct which we were doing a lot of previously. I don't think we should be too worried. We seem to get muddled at the back too often and if anything, it's why we have lost games recently. At times it looks a bit of a shambles at the back. Kitch is good at losing his man and not seeing his blind side. Regardless we should have put this game to bed and didn't. I'm optimistic as we did dominate and are clearly a good side. Stupid of Thomas, guess Wolfenden comes back in. Missing the spark of Asante and today Torp would have got on the end of a few, but on to the next.

Still in a good position but boy are we putting pressure ourselves. Defensively shaky and poor decisions made all over the pitch. Simms not pulling that early ball back for Rudoni. Thomas at the end there. Their player made an absolute meal of it but why raise your hand at all? Hope reinforcements are incoming to provide quality options and pep up our play. I’m keeping faith but nerves are jangling a wee bit, not going to lie!

Agreed, we haven't created many clear chances for weeks, we've reverted to what we were at the end of last season, quite predictable.

But this is a consequence of a lack of bravery all round, lots of players content to play a square pass or receive a square ball.

Yep, or the need to have 10 touches instead of moving the ball quickly.

Thank fuck 7th tier Dean Austin spent the summer getting the runaround off agents who wanted to drum up interest from elsewhere instead of bringing in quality depth!

Please give Wright away to anyone who’ll pay more than £100
BTA is now crucial to our season and Doug needs to admit his mistake in not signing Bamford and put that right with a significant signing
Bamford would have scored 6-8 goals with the chances our forwards have missed
Frank must be spitting feathers, even thinking if he can work long term under Doug’s ways

It was obvious in the summer we'd fucked it up but because we had a storming start with a fresh squad people wouldn't have it.
A fair amount on here called how we were 2 or 3 signing short in the summer. They were called bedwetters by the majority. Were now 5 or 6 short.

Still, a small squad is the best for promotion as every player feels involved.....
