I've been getting small bags of logs from bandq and the coop near us but might get them from a proper supplier

I’ve had both a log burner and open fire in recent years. Although the log burner is way more efficient you can’t beat the visual effect of an open fire.

If you'd have known I could have a cedar that I had dropped about six months, sorry, basically an overgrown Xmas tree.

I also burn ovals which is a decent supplement to the logs. Basically it’s coal but smokeless.

Expensive way of doing it boss but needs must until you find a decent regular supplier.

So we got a real tree this Christmas , when we take it down I was gonna to cut the branches off let it dry out in the garage , cut up the trunk and burn it in the fire next year would that work ?

Let it grow for twenty years and you will have about a hundred logs to chop up at least, that the product of mine…this year.
