If this sort of thing happened in any other workplace in the U.K., the person would likely be sacked. How is it acceptable in football?!?

Slide tackles slightly different to attempting to sexually assault someone
I didn’t see the incident in question so hard to say for sure but I think you’d have a hard time getting someone convicted for sexual assault in this context.

And if it was kithcing they would be like get in lad let him know not to fuck with the city etc

no, no we wouldn't

it was a cunty thing to do that as stated would result in sacking and possible reportinng to the police anywhere else.

why is it ok on a football pitch

It would need EMC to make a complaint and he won't though!

Well that's no good, we want him to be banned for football.
My point is its recognised in Rugby as an offence,

We’re starting to get a bit of a rep for being sore losers who blame every dropped point on the ref. Seen fans of a few clubs mention it.

We've won nearly every game this season and have been critical of refs after many of them.

The standard this year is atrocious.

And couldn't givea flying fuck what other supporters think personally.

It wasn't an accident he deliberately done it to wind EMC up. And it worked because EMC lost his head reacted and then multiple times forgot the ball and just charged into Furlong.

If EMC makes a complaint it will be looked at and will not be looked at as just a incident or lightly. Nowadays you can't just go and grab people intentionally.

If that sounds soft then im ok with that opinion, but if someone did it to me in a bar i don't think id be laughing.

Well i wouldn’t be laughing if someone went shoulder to shoulder with me in a bar but on a football pitch it’s different

Nope. You'd be fingering the one who did it.

I may be wrong but the picture above i dont think was the incident i seen. This was off the ball and was Furlong stepping towards EMC as he walked away from him. He reached out and it made EMC do a complete 180 and point at him. Straight after EMC just charged at Furlong without looking at the ball. So in my opinion it was a obvious and deliberate grab of EMC. In any environment that is t looked at lightly, football pitch, office , bar or in the street .

If you think it isn't a issue, i don't have an problem or care as its an opinion just like mine.

By the way im not saying it changed the outcome of the game or that im crying thinking we should of won. We got what we deserved nothing. And we now need to move on forget the game and look to put it right on Thursday. Any opinion todays about the actual game means nothing i suppose.
