Personally, I’m looking forward to next season when we’re the Premier League underdog and our atmosphere will be praised more than our performances

Who said anything about super fans?
Is everyone a fan though?
there are plenty of season ticket holders this year who were Liverpool or spurs fans the last year.
Difficult to create a good atmosphere when there aren't many away fans. Can't have been more than a couple of hundred Swansea fans.
I had assumed it was mainly ST holders over there?Don't think the group in front of me joined in with anything, two blokes on my left talked all game, phones out half the time, bloke behind only made noise to berate Simms if the ball went near him. One a couple of rows in front was sat down playing puzzle games on their phone the whole second half.
basically 'the corner' as a thing is dead. It's driven by a bunch of kids and the drummer. Every week it feels more like a I'm sat with a bunch of people who want to be in there to say they're in there. Most of them are carrying a card with 'Singers Corner' written on it. Fully don't get it. F*ck off to the Family Zone.
Don’t get the constant worry about this.
times have changed we are now in different state, it’s not backs against wall, we are now top, which makes games nervous as every 3 points is critical…..that brings tense nature.
also the game state dictates - we are top, we are better than most teams, we know we will come back - that’s cool. Also brings different dynamic.
Ipswich is a big game, suspect that may be step up as everyone knows it will be a real game.
just enjoy the ride, enjoy this time, don’t worry wether someone is singing for 90 minutes non stop.
I love nothing more than watching quietly assessing the game!
I booed him the 1st couple of times he had the ball & got the same reactionI yelled "CITY REJECT" at Stamanic the first time he touched the ball and got nothing but quizzical looks. Game's gone
Yep, a lot of hand wringing when the reasons are obvious. People making comments about SC now being full of this, that and the other. It's been sold out every week in that part of the ground for 3 seasons, it's the same people. We've had regular sell outs or near sell outs for several seasons. The people haven't changed, it's the circumstances.
It'll be rocking on Monday I think, and again, the reasons are pretty obvious.
It'll only go flat if a) we're losing or b) it's level and really tense. Therefore, you may well be right. That said, I'm having 2 halves of Foster shandy pre-match, so will be well up for a sing song.I'm not convinced tbh.
Sorry, atmospheres brilliantFfs top of the league and some people still got to have a moan.

It’s definitely dropped off but think a lot of that’s because we’re so close to doing something special. The last couple of months we’ve not played great but have got over the line at home. Think there’s lots of people me included half expecting the wheels to come off.
Then there’s the other issues with the stadium - public transport, service in the concourse, getting inside the ground and away at the end.
A444 closure is barking and that’s only causing issues on the adjoining roads so people leave early.
Appreciate it was Boxing Day yesterday but no trains on and bank holiday service on the busses made getting to the ground difficult yesterday.
Service at the bars is slow so people go down early to get food and drink.
The fan zone stuff is decent idea but it seems to mean people are turning up later to get into the ground.
First world problems but given we look to be going up we need some resolving especially given the teams that will be visiting next year with sold out away ends.
A444 is closure is non-negotiable and it would be difficult to go back on it given that car drivers are inclined to drive fast on that stretch of road/ the island. Yeah I get it's good to talk and all that but fucking hell the guys behind me just talk about marriage, kids, restaurants and drunken nights out NON STOP. Can't even tell if they like football lolDon't think the group in front of me joined in with anything, two blokes on my left talked all game, phones out half the time, bloke behind only made noise to berate Simms if the ball went near him. I think those bloody fireworks stifle the atmosphere as does the loud music leading up to the game. Have music but let the fans generate the atmosphere. The drummer doesn’t really make things any easier because it’s like we have Les Dawson in B15.
Glad they ditched the flags.

Mark and Nicola would want to knowIn Balcony Bar yesterday (and no divider between disabled fans and the rest this time: great to see), and JFC the speed of the staff again. I’ve honestly never seen such inefficiency in hospitality in my life. Some of the till operators seemed to have to type war and peace in one letter at a time. No one knew what beers were available without asking around. Food queues seemed OK but again not clear where to queue and staff just completely reactive all the time. Several members of staff just stood about. The queue to get in was miles long. There’s four people stood at the door, one slowly checking names on a paper list the others just stood about. Absolutely no impetus to work through the queue quicker. Same at the bars, two or three stood about in the background while the queue was four or five deep. Drives me nuts.
not really sure how people can be offended by flags. have they actually been ditched for good or did someone forget yesterdayI liked the flags![]()
We need some new and originalish songs quickly but the excuses for another shit home atmosphere need to stop, particularly when so many of our fans take to social media to say how electric the CBS is and we always outsing the away fans.
We were in L1 at Northampton but point takenRidiculous to be complaining about the atmosphere. It seemed a hell of a lot louder than L2 games in Northampton.
Regardless of your opinions on the atmosphere in general, not once have we been outsung by the away fans this season.
There’s someone near me who arrives 15 mins late for every game. Then disappears 10-15 mins before half time. Doesn’t come back until 10-15 mins into the second half and leaves early.Regardless of atmosphere, I never understand leaving early, going down for HT after 30 mins, and then subsequently being late back to seats.
