Sold out already? (4 Viewers)

How full is the safe standing area near singers corner, I believe it increases capacity a bit.
If it's well subscribed it's possible the club will extend it and if we go up they may introduce some safe standing in the away areas.

It doesn't increase capacity because they sell the seats as normal.

Safe standing in the away end already.

Its a rule where if introduced in the home end it has to be in the away end also

Yeah, but 11 difference? Thats not even 1 line of seats separating away fans on one side? Is it like Fulham with a mixed away/home end?

It may be that they quote the real operational capacity, and not the notional capacity that's quoted for the CBS.

In fairness 102 is still a small amount
I think we can assume, like us, the stand will go back to (give or take) row WW ish? So 49 rows approx. Thats 1 full line of seats either side of the away fans +4 spare seats. If PL clubs are allowed so little in terms of segregation then why have we/the championship got so much? Especially with Swansea and Ipswich selling out. We could easily fit another 500-800 in that gap.

Also, is anybody else hungover or is it just me?

Well I never noticed the away end had standing, I assumed they'd take out the seats to convert it but they don't so it's virtually indistinguishable from the other areas. Anyway I'm too old for all that and I sit some distance away from the noisy end.

This was my second ever game. We were sat n the east terraced seating which was a weird section at the bottom of the main stand if I remember rightly and not on the kop itself. Ray Clemence made an unbelievable save (or at least that’s how I remember it). Was a proper starter to the main course five months later!

This was my first ever game and where my love affair for the City began.

Are we going to top the 31,141
Thankfully, Charlton brought more than the Swans are bringing , so would 31,500 be the best we could hope for , with the sell out home sections ?

I think it'll just top 30k. The Ipswich game will be bigger than the Charlton game I think

Hopefully people will put their tickets on resale.

I'm sure there will be plenty in the North stand who decide not to turn up as always.

I always thought STs were counted in the numbers whether they turn up or not? There's been a few games where the numbers given didnt quite match the crowd.
I remember a game against Accrington Stanley where they were giving tickets away to schools. Official attendance was 28k or so, but there were never 28k people in attendance imo.

I know that was always the egg chasers thing too. Pics id see on the rag would have 6-7k tops with attendance of 18k!

It’s easier to think of it as ‘tickets sold’ rather than ‘attendance’.

Swansea haven’t sold out surely? So we won’t get close to it being that number.

Once again, loads of empty seats in the North Stand.

How difficult is it to put your ticket on resale and gain £10 for your efforts?

Loads desperate for tickets today missing out because people don't turn up when it's cold. Been the same for a 4/5 games now.

If they keep doing it the club will get strict on it and start rescinding season tickets. I think its West Brom that only allow you to miss 3 games without putting it on the exchange

How much are the fresh buyers charged for the ticket?

No one wants the club to remove tickets from people but they've got to make it clear to people that they should be putting them on resale.

It's so easy to do so and they send you £10 to spend on food and drink.
