If George is a genuine target and signed it would be such a smart pick up. Its an position we need and is a player of the right age and at a point in his career when he needs to kick on. I like the names being mentioned and would be happy with George and Castledine who has also been mentioned from Chelsea as a potential target.

Going to be a interesting Jan and by the end of it we may have plenty of pace and attacking options in the squad.

This is all the ‘source’ for this says, I wouldn’t read much into it.

Thank you regarding our Doug.

Regarding charity bet….. always happy to donate to worthwhile charities but the Wright situation is out of my control.
I do believe he will leave for Turkey if an offer of 15 million euros comes in but City will not release him unless they have an adequate or better replacement. That’s the bit that’s questionable.

15 million euros up front and another 15 million in instalments due a month later more like.

I hope so, although I reckon we will squeeze £20m out of some side. In my opinion, an excellent striker who can hold the ball up and pass (and score of course - both with feet and head) would take this side to another level. We've been missing that for a long time. If we can get £20m for Wright I'd put that towards a really promising young striker.

Na. 😆.
Polite request Do me a favour on Xmas day.
Stop calling our chairman Bling for a few days or ever. We had the conversations a few months ago and the majority agreed it was disrespectful and annoying.

As is deadly Doug. CWR ‘presenter’ says it regularly.

I personally can’t see it, but a structured deal ‘upon promotion to the Prem’ as per the Sunderland Le Fee deal is all I can see. Otherwise he will be well out of our reach financially imo.

That’s what I meant. Le Fee was an obligation if they got promoted wasn’t he?

The kind of deal that becomes slightly easier to do if you're pissing the league.

Yeah and I think he actually looks better in the Prem than he did the Champ. I think the physicality of the champ maybe didn’t suit him as much?

Still plays for the stinky mackems though so not getting too much credit from me.
