I reckon he starts against Swansea in a back 5 if Kitch and Thomas are back, if they’re not I reckon Bidwell starts in a back 4
Absolutely zero chance of us starting a back 5 at home to Swansea! Regardless of suspensions and availability, id put my house on the fact we wont start a back 5. If we do, FL needs to give his head a wobble. Bidwell will start in a back 4. Regardless of which CHs are available.

I love how most have written him off as a LB already saying his defence is lacking as he's been caught out defensively. Almost as if Bobby, Kitch, MVE, JDS, Bidwell, and Woolf havent all been caught out defensively numerous times this season. A poor WBA scored 2 against play catching JDS out defensively. MVE has his pace to dig himself out most of the time so its not as glaringly obvious, and a long punt over the top catches Bobby and Kitch out almost every time.

Absolutely cannot judge Brau on a 10 minute cameo.
KKH and Allen look really good as 60 to 70 minute subs. KKH has not been as good when playing a full match. The Preston fans were surprised how poor he was against them compared with his last season form. Allen sometimes is good for a whole match but is not a regular starter for a reason these days. Check his Wrexham performance.
Brau has really not been given a sub appearance let alone a start. That should raise a big red flag for him as a starter. That said, it depends on how many players are currently ahead of him will be unavailable.
Our recruitment has been exemplary for a season or two, so Brau could work out fine in the long run. Our coaches know what they are doing.

He will be 24 next weekend, and hes been training with us long enough to be trusted for a home game against Swansea.
He won't be playing against Barcelona, just a poor team in a relegation fight from the second level of English football.
Let's not make out this game is something its not.
I never said I wouldn’t trust him against Swansea 😜 My post was about fans writing him off as a failure signing.

I do like the look of Brau, and he seemed to fit into the group dynamic very well. Seems like a good pro, good character, and I think he’ll do us a decent turn at LB/LWB or even further up at a push.

Ok, tbf the lad has time on his side.
Id imagine Bidders will be gone at the end of the season, so a decision will need to be made then on Brau. If we are in the PL next season I think Brau may be moved on and replaced, if we fuck up promotion he will be kept on as second choice LB (Imo)

The Swansea game is a big opportunity for Brau, if hes not given a start then it doesn't look good for him.

I just can't see why we wouldn't start Brau against Swansea , and in a back four .
Our whole focus this season has been playing fast attacking football and playing on the front foot as much as we can . Brau fits our new style of play more than Bidwell for me
