Dasilva was much better than MVE apart from the sending off. Because we had to defend it showed up that it is not MVE strongest point. Lati deserves an 8 too. I thought Rudoni was no worse than Torp.

Subs all did well especially Brau and KHH.. We kept our shape well second half and Southampton ran out of ideas

I’d start him on Boxing Day. Suits our style much better than bidders
If we don't expect to defend a lot I totally agree. He looks quite fluid on the ball and will help us balance wise a lot more than Bidwell would (although I think Bidwell did ok today!)

Nothing annoys me more than the sight of Haji Wright sitting on the floor looking at the ref like a kid who dropped their ice cream cone.

That was an exceptionally difficult opponent he was playing against. As good at running with the ball as any in the division, I'd say.

Dasilva had a very good first half, but that was a spectacularly brainless moment he had, and in effect cost us any chance at getting the win.

Lati blocked and headed everything, he was excellent. EMC excellent until he was taken off. Wright was poor. Rushworth is the business, we absolutely have t sign him if we go up, some of those corners they were putting in at the end were exceptional, but he dealt with them all.

Rushworth Woolf and lati all did great

Not having rudoni on a 5. He's still coming back from injury and just worked his ass off especially second half. Get off this back

Wright could have done better but were unbeaten since he came back and he could easily have had more goals or won penalties etc

Rushworth 9 - MOTM
Milan 5
Lati 8
Wolf 8
Dasilva 4 (better than Milan but minus a number of marks for the needless red card)
Grimes 7
Torp 7
Rudoni 5
Eccles 6
Wright 4
EMC 7

Subs
Bidwell 8
Brau 7
Allen 7
Simms 6
KKH 6

Really difficult to score. Wolf and Lati did really well in the second half. But it sometimes easier when you only have to concentrate defending the 6 yard box. I'm not sure they would have scored so highly has it remained 11v11 and the game more open.

I know it's a low score for Rudoni, he worked his arse off but the quality was way off. He was even struggling to control the ball at some points in the second half, and when he would be taking some pressure off us he just gave away easy turnovers.

It isn't the game for Wright playing against a team who sat as deep as Southampton did.

Well they gave Southampton very little in the first half as well. Not that it is relevant at all to the ratings thread based on the actual rather than hypothetical match that took place.

Re the above we will never know. But what we do know is Lati and Wolfenden were really solid in both halves. They also did it for a 100 minutes. You couldn't ask for more from them today..

Can’t fault anyone after da silva off. Top marks all round. Considering Milan looked like he was throwing up as he left pitch and Torp looked like he still suffering with it. Excellent spirit and togetherness from whole squad

I don't usually suffer too much with cold and flu but the bout I've had this week has been worse than I've had for years, with some strange different symptoms.

Thought Dasilva was good until his red. Had a comment in draft that I never posted praising him for the way he aggressively presses his man when the balls coming into their feet - he’s won a few of them this year but unfortunately got that one wrong

Hoping Brau can step up because it’s so important we have confident ball players
