With regard to the wages I don't see a problem , as long as they are paid on the normal monthly date , we always used to get staff moaning that it was 5 weeks to next payday ..I am not being a Grinch here I just don't see the problem

They've moved the pay date with little notice the week before Christmas.
Never knew Jacob Marley had a log in!

Seriously? Most people live paycheck to paycheck.

December's payment would come today and it's been deferred to NYE.

A lot of staff at LFC would've been relying on that paycheck to fund their Christmas'.

Genuine yes. But when the vast majority of comments are like what we had off them during our dark days and what the vast majority of the comments we still get from them are I struggle to have any kind of affinity with them.

Comments from where? Twitter? Facebook?

Most Leicester fans i know personally, once you step past the local rivalry, are genuine football fans. Same with Blues and Villa.

And if they do live paycheck to paycheck it would have been 6 weeks before they were paid again surely it's easier to budget if paid regularly

I don't do Twatter or Farcebook so no.

You rarely see a level headed comment from them about us but insults are constant. Two of my brothers are Leicester supporters. Of course they have a lot of decent supporters but they have more than their fair share of idiots.

The payment date was announced in advance. The “normal monthly date” is the date agreed and shared.

Changing payment dates at the drop of a hat is at best very bad practice and a serious red flag as an employer

I used to be like this for sure. Just didn't get how adults could live paycheck to paycheck. Never understood people saying yay payday soon. Even in my early 20s I didn't care about payday as I didn't need it urgently

However 5 years or so ago for a short while I found out what it's like to need money coming in before money goes out etc so I have more sympathy and no longer take it for granted.

But I understand your point and know your not being an arsehole.

they will have budgeted for being paid this week and spent accordingly, if you can't see the issue then ok, wow
