There’s a chance of it because Ipswich have struggled against teams that play 3 CBs and wing backs. A quick scan shows the only team playing 5 defenders is Swansea. They’ve played Bristol, PNE, Charlton, Blackburn, Wrexham, Derby, Southampton and even Bromley. Whilst they’ve won 1 win in 9, they’ve only lost two games (PNE & Charlton) so if we did opt for that formation, it signals we’re happy with a draw.Any chance we'll start 3-5-2 at Ipswich?
I could see a 3 at the back, let them have the ball and hit them on the break like Oxford did. Something like:Any chance we'll start 3-5-2 at Ipswich?
We are.I don't really get their reasoning for that.

They have struggled all season. They are slow going forward and are never far from making a mistake at the back. They do get attempts on goal but need a goalscorer. There’s a chance of it because Ipswich have struggled against teams that play 3 CBs and wing backs. The only issue I have is that a 3-4-3/5-3-2 involves taking out Eccles or Rudoni. Otherwise, it could be a good fit considering our walking wounded.
