He’s scored a fair few for us too to be fair.Mve before he signed seemed to score a few in the Dutch league, he can hit a decent shot and it's frustrating how he seems reluctant to sometimes

He has tried a few shots recently that sailed some distance over the bar. He’s scored a fair few for us too to be fair.
Hes obviously the new Ben Sheaf. He has tried a few shots recently that sailed some distance over the bar.
Basically passed it in, brilliant composure. The header he scored against WBA was also nothing like the goals he’s scored before. If he keeps growing into that AM role it solves a big headache going into January.Hes obviously the new Ben Sheaf.
Although his goal on Saturday was top quality, he picked his spot and just placed it into the corner![]()
I was replying to a comment about MVE in the Eccles thread, very confusing what!Hes obviously the new Ben Sheaf.

Lampard seems to think that all players (even Rushworth??) should be higher up the pitch. And who can argue against that?Reinventing himself under Lampard who clearly thinks he should be playing higher up the pitch. Another well taken goal today, and another Lampard-ism that few saw coming but makes more sense with each game.
Fair play to both, especially as Eccles had appeared to be out of favour last season.
Football’s about scoring goals at the end of the day. Thanks to Pep people had actually become very distracted from that simple fact, and it looks like clubs are now rediscovering it once again.Lampard seems to think that all players (even Rushworth??) should be higher up the pitch. And who can argue against that?
Like Man utd at Wembley in a F.A. Cup semi final?I would love to see Eccles coming on in a huge game against a big club.
He scored that one cracker at Sheffield Wednesday but never before or after
Forgot that one tbfHis goal at Blackpool weren't too bad.
Who is going to do a compilation video of his goals and assists. His goal at Blackpool weren't too bad.
Well Grimes came in last January and I suspect Lampard and staff would check any player passes a dickhead test first.Certainly more entertaining to be attacking and I like that he's pushing Eccles and others further up, but my only issue with Eccles is not about his ability and not questioning whether he does a good job as he rarely lets us down, but I always seem him as a bit of an extra, in the same way I do Jamie Allen. I'd definitely rather keep him, but if everyone is fit, he doesn't make the first 11 imo as I can't look past a midfield of Grimes, Torp, Rudoni.
Tats is the best option on the right, EMC on the left then I'm struggling because on recent form you can't drop Ellis, but how do you leave out 2 of the leagues top 3 scorers in BTA and Wright? Nice problem to have and options look limited with injury, but I think brining someone in in January could derail things. we're a good tight-knit group who fight for each other. I know you can't have too many good players, but we don't want to do an Asprilla.
Take your point, but i dont think Asprilla was a problem, he was a good player but the wrong fit at the time. I'd compare it with those saying things like get Hamer back, as whilst he's undoubtedly a quality player, he doesnt fit our formation and we'd have to move too many parts to accommodate him.Well Grimes came in last January and I suspect Lampard and staff would check any player passes a dickhead test first.
