the decision for bling to not sign Bamford is looking odder by the day
It really isn’t - unless it was a deal until Jan which I highly doubt it was.
We’ve got a massive opportunity to use this window as a chance to attract some immense talent who want to make the prem.

Signing injury prone ex-names is wasted space on the rocket ship.

Unfortunately there aren’t many chimps to power the rocket at the moment

Tell me you are a half glass empty kind of guy without telling me.

Why does MVE need a rest? We have just come off an international break, and he's consistently shown that he doesn't break down and can play three game weeks.

EMC not playing well? Is just made up. He's clearly the best LW in the squad, when we dropped him to start BTA it didn't work well. He also has 2 goals in the last 5 which is hardly bad form is it...

Is Allen not an option for Eccles all of a sudden?
MVE has looked jaded for weeks now, EMC would not be playing imo if everyone was fit and Allen is not really an option for Eccles if we want to be title winner. These are the levels needed to be title winners, if we are serious about winning the title we need a squad to be better than playing whoever is fit on the day mentality we've had in the past.
Maybe we get away with it today maybe we don't

it would have been till Jan, it’s a crazy decision which now shows how short we are with a few injures

That's a decent enough line up. There's no such thing as an easy game in this division, to use a cliché, but that team is good enough to beat Charlton.

Will be the hughes situation again, piss around over a few million and end up getting someone worse. If we have a number 1 target get it done
I agree, if we do go up then I reckon we'll be back in for him and paying a lot more than we would have done in the summer.

We always knew we’d be dragging ourselves through December squad wise. If we can get 3-4 in the window we’ll be OK but not having the resource to fund a title squad was always the worry and just a reality of not being a parachute club.
