It was a vapeGood. On the WBA incident in particular - I’m not sure there’s anything in life that makes me cringe more than a football fan getting drastically wound up by an opposing player or referee. How can a simple game of football get the better of someone so much?

Didn’t see the WBA incident but I’m with you regarding Middlesbrough. The bottles started from the home fans and were thrown back by Cov which is no excuse. Wonder if Doug has called Jack Rudoni into his office……Agrees. However, Tuesday’s bottle throwing was the result of high stakes on the pitch. Middlesborough fans were very loud at times.
This thing called ‘banter’ nowadays boiled over into their fans not being able to control themselves when we scored both goals late on. I’m of the opinion that Middlesborough fans started the bottles. Some City youth threw some back and pushed stewards to attempt to reach a Middlesborough guy who was stopped, wrestled down by stewards. Then the bottles kept coming our way. A lot was going on with stewards both sides. City fans were being hit with bottles. Others were fending bottles off or saying ‘incoming’ around me. I was 12 metres away from our perimeter. I hope the offenders get what’s coming to them (Both sides)

It blows my mind that someone might think ‘my nerves can’t take this tension, so I’ll throw something or be a gobshite outside’
I blame people calling every game must win for ratcheting up the tension
Ypu threw your knickers at me last game .. reported you tooI’ve behaved, I think I’ve only done it twice this season!

Only idiots throw things onto the pitch and at players, they deserve a ban.Stuff like this is tribal and pathetic. Get them banned and miss the season we finally complete the redemption arc.
Football is pure emotion, we all feel it, but we don’t all revert to caveman behaviours.
Yup. Zero excuse and it's cowardly too, anyway.Only idiots throw things onto the pitch and at players, they deserve a ban.
We’ve probably had one too many at a game but normal people don’t throw things at other people.
Disgraceful behaviour to be honest, get ‘em gone.
They need to get a grip, why defend idiots?People on Facebook whinging at Doug

Just a little edit....Idiots on Farcebook showing Doug their true levels of intellect.
Nope they woz their and it was all boro
Even at the West Brom game it appears
I have to say the police response at cov was instant the one at boro was non existent
Agreed and wasn’t what they did at the cbsGrant for Albion is a prick, but I'm not sure that's an excuse for throwing vapes at him.
Wasn't at Boro but my mate said it was bad from the boro fans but I'm not sure'they started it' is going to get anyone off the hook.
Though the modernday police method of letting incidents play out then watching cctv footage before getting involved is a dereliction of duty in my book.
Absolutely and I’ve no doubt from the videos I’ve seen who caused it and who are most at fault it was having a go at the statement as if doug should have blamed grant for provocation and then said our fans only threw back what was thrown at themCoppers were standing pointing at City fans instead of getting Boro fans who were chucking bottles and stuff. The bottles on the pitch were from home fans after Ellis ran into the corner to celebrate
