I have a mate who is a Walsall fan, and at the time, he was saying that this great run probably wouldn't last, as they were winning by narrow margins, and were reliant on the goals of loanee striker, Nathan Lowe.
The loss of Lowe was the thing that really hit them hard, as he was recalled by Stoke after 24 games, when Walsall were 12 points clear, and after he'd scored 18 goals in 30 games.
Almost the definition of a 1 man team, because after he left, they went into free fall.
I'm happy that we're not like that, as even the loss of arguably our best player (Rudoni) for 9/10 weeks, hasn't affected our form at all...if anything, we've done even better lol.
