From Doug’s perspective you have Wright, BTA and Simms all fit. BTA in the form of his life. Simms with a few goals too. Only 6ish weeks till Jan. Signing an older player to only be a back up, presumably on decent wages seems a tad overkill especially compared to the fairly lean squad we have.
