Not so sure we will as they wanted 20 Mil for him. He's not Prem ready yet and if we have any chance of staying up we are going to need Prem ready players from the off. It won't be the time to gamble on young prospects.

My point is pretty obvious, the hype was wildly exaggerated and he was never coming. I don't believe for a second that we made "three bids" it looks like we made a firm enquiry but were told to jog on pretty early on. I very much doubt there was ever any intent to blow £10m either.
