I can’t see Dovin being happy on the bench, especially as reserve goalkeepers rarely play.

If Dovin comes back from injury as the player he was before then I’m happy with him as our first choice. I think the money could be better spent on strengthening other positions.

Rushworth is the better goalkeeper but Dovin is also very good. Personally, I don’t think he’d have a problem being back-up for a PL side.

I don’t disagree about Rushworth being a bit better but I don’t think there is much in it and I expect Dovin, being younger, to continue developing.

I still think we can spend the money better elsewhere, which was really my point.

Disagree as we’d still need to sign another goalkeeper who could play in the PL, especially as seeing what happened last season after Dovin’s injury. For years we didn’t take the position seriously and now we’re enjoying the benefit of doing so.

I think the Second Tier Pod is decent. They just gain engagement from slightly controversial tweets.

Yes we would need another keeper but there seems to be an expectation that we would have to pay north of £10 million for Rushworth. I think we could get a decent reserve keeper for a lot less than that and spend the saving on other positions.

Agreed, and I watch most of his stuff, but having watched both Adam Clery and The Dutch Couch this morning, they were both extremely complimentary to us, so they'll do too

Rushworth is currently far better than Dovin IMO. I'm a big fan of Dovin too, hes a massive upgrade on the previous clowns, but Rushworth is a step up again. Dovin has better distribution but it's kind of nullified anyway with having Grimes sitting.

Calling Wilson a clown is harsh for me.
I really don’t understand the stick he gets. His mistakes have been so few, his clean sheet record is really good and in terms of cult status, he literally scored a goal to get us into the play-offs. You can’t compare him to Rishworth but the disrespect is so undeserved.

He is, at worst, par for the course for the Championship and on his day really rather decent.
