Haji has had a couple poor games sure , seems to have struggled without rudoni

Still no doubt hes our best option
His awareness and movement to get onside for the third goal against Sheffield Utd shows exactly why he starts ahead of Simms.
The difference in quality between the two players is simply night and day.

How many times does he not get onside though?

And that third goal owed as much to Allen holding onto the ball long enough for Wright to be onside. He should have been able to play that pass much earlier if Wright was better positioned.

Absolutely no chance whatsoever of Simms starting ahead of Wright.
More chance of Bassette coming back and displacing Wright

Is it worth us putting Bamford on a short contract till Jan and seeing if he can do it and then extending till end of the season.

Bit like what happened with Andy Carroll at WBA

Simms has done NOTHING wrong in the few mins he's had. He's done he can do. Thought Simms should have come on a bit earlier. Wright hasn't looked great since international.break.

If it wasn't the international break (that resets everything), I would seriously consider Simms against WBA or if not, Boro (should Wright have a non eventful game). If only to give Wright a rocket and since every time Simms has been on has led to a goal.

It isn't as night and day as you suggest . At his best Wright is the best in the league , when he isn't he can have games like today where the game needs another option and that is Simms who against Wrexham and again today showed just the sort of hunger and desire you want from your second striker

Kinda but you could possibly make the same case for Wright in some way)
