I think Rangers have got a tidy manager in position now in all honesty, he did a decent job at Sheff Weds under shit circumstances, if they give him time he will build a decent side there

Damien Duff made a bit of a name for himself as a manager over in Ireland, could be an outside shout for the Celtic gig

he won't get time, he's a ok manager that did well at one job he had but it's very different now, they aren't going to spend that much money as evidenced by this year where the signings were paid for by selling their best players and they talk about balancing the books at a club that loses money hand over fist

Watched the game yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it - The neutral North of the border should want Hearts to keep this up as I, as I am sure many others are are excited at the prospect of a proper title race in Scotland, it would be the best thing in terms of viewership to happen to Scottish Football in ages - and, as crazy as it sounds as they have been so poor - if Rohl can get Rangers firing a three way title race can't be ruled out, Hearts may well drop more points than a dominant Celtic side would and the 12 points that Rangers are behind them could theoretically easily be made up with 87 left to play for, that is obviously dependant on Rangers finding some consistent form however

Rodgers looks and sounds like he has mentally checked out of Celtic for me, I wouldn't be surprised to see him angle for a job down here again and for Ange to be back up there by the summer at the very latest
I grew up with Hibs as my favourite Scots team (it was when sticker albums included the SPL in them so I picked a team) but even I would very begrudgingly prefer hearts to win it instead of Rangers or Celtic. But why did it have to be them?! Why couldn't Aberdeen, or Motherwell or literally any other team have had this as their brilliant season?

It’s a very safe option , O’Neil is without doubt a Celtic legend however he spent big and I think his tactics and approach may be a little dated . Maloney has been spoken of very highly so I suppose it’s a case of the jobs yours till the end the season then If they win the league they have it permanently

He just needs to get the team playing faster, the Scottish league is very dated when it comes to tactics anyway. It's still very much get it launched. As long as he stops the "horseshoe of death" style of play then the fans will be ok.

Also he's more the face and personality as Maloney doesn't have that to deal with the press.

There will be a new manager asap, they are also likely to spend big in January if only to piss Rodgers off as the defacto owner is on the warpath now.

That statement he released threw Rodgers under the bus , or Honda civic

Well i’d say it gives a good indication
No it doesn't, it gives a representation of the views of the people who post on that forum. Kerrydale Street is much like SBT not the views of the whole fanbase. KDS is a warm middle class liberal safe space.

I loved the San Siro and is worth a visit alone, but I was bloody disappointed with Milan as a place, thought it was very dull

The best thing abut Milan is the transport network to nearby towns and cities, and high-speed rail to slightly further afield.

Can comfortably manage three games in a weekend if you get fortunate with kickoff times.

Within 60-90mins you can be in Genoa, Turin, Bergamo, Brescia, Como, Verona, Bologna, Parma.

I went to watch a Serie C game between Lecco and Alessandria a few years ago, the day after England played at the San Siro - It was right on the lakes it was stunning

No they don't, who has told you that? Utter bollocks and i'll ask some of them that I know as well.

I mean look at the tweet and look at some of the responses, Keane has soiled his reputation in some quarters managing Maccabi Tel Aviv, admittedly may well be a very vocal minority on social media but with the Green Brigade vociferous supporters of Palestine I don’t think I am far wrong

Not intended as a dig at Celtic, I don’t care either way

Yes and we all know twitter is representative of the views of an entire fanbase. I actually know some of the "Green Brigade" and they haven't given Robbie Keane a 2nd thought sincde his loan spell at Celtic ended.

Moving away from people chatting whiff about a fanbase.

Ange is bookie favourite but that would shock a few as Dermot Desmond hates him as well for talking to Spurs secretly while tell Celtic he was staying for another season.

and here’s you saying the booing sheffield wednesday fans are representative of the entire fanbase
Sheffield Wednesday "on the pitch"

even if some don’t mind Keane. it’s clear there’s a fair few celtic fans that do. which supports Alex’s original point

I said this:

"When you can show that the majority of our fans (and it was the majority of them at that game) will boo a player for basically being racially abused then you may have a point.

Until then please forgive but you are talking shite."

Which is not even in the same ballpark as what you accuse me of saying. You need to speak to Grendal as he can help you getting a better spreadsheet :)

Shame hearts dropped pts but they could easily have lost that game. Needed their keeper to bail them out a few times and VAR. Still unbeaten though at least

Rangers started well under rohl and Celtic winning under o neil again

Hearts made an even better start in 05/06 I think, under George Burley. Ran out of steam once squad size and then the OF caught up with them. Very interested to see how Rohl gets on anyway, personally expect him to do quite well.

he needed a penalty save last night as his team and squad aren't very good

The good team Rangers have played have absolutely made them look foolish.
