Apparently, this might be Blackburn’s big day out , as 1500 are coming down ….WOW
At least …..for 10 minutes , we will have some other noise , just like the Brummies !

People are moaning saying this looks terrible , not sure i agree tbh
To be fair, the first ‘S’ looks a bit weird and the ‘B’ looks like it’s missing a row of dark blue seats from the bottom of the B.

But as others have said, a million times better than Wasps or Frasers.

Tough game today. They're better than their current position and have had two good wins on the road.

In previous seasons, after a few wins you almost felt we were due a loss and half expected it, but this team is built different so we have to be confident, but this is far from a formality. Have to be on it. If we are, we win, but wouldn't be too surprised by a draw.

Half our population and lots of clubs in their area. That is a good effort and equivalent to 3k for us.

Is it a good effort for a Saturday 3pm, after an intl. break? I can think of lots of clubs who would bring more and get similar home numbers to them

Don't get the 'other clubs' in the area shite, clubs aren't in competition with each other to steal customers, if Leicester was £5 every week I wouldn't take my trade there would I

Normally hate 12:30 kick offs but 3 seems ages away when you’re top of the league and waiting two weeks for a game.

Can’t remember being this confident and excited going into a league game for years. Usually means we’re about to get bitten on the arse but usually means fuck all to this lot.

our traditional storming finish to the season.

being a pendant, we actually had a pretty limp end to both playoff seasons. It was a mad run just before it that got us up there. Agree with you, though. No reason with this squad we can't put that right and take advantage this time. Hopefully it's for taking a run at top two rather than fifth or sixth.

Yeah fair point, I'd still say 22/23 was a strong finish (one defeat after 3rd Feb) but we got out of jail on a few occasions such as Blackburn away and Watford.

Last season was pretty bad tbf, I must have wiped the Luton game from my memory.

Can't work out if you said 'pendant' ironically, btw!

Well after predicting defeats against Millwall and Sheff Wed, Im not going to put the mockers on by predicting anything other than a 1.2 result with Blackburn coming back and getting the winner in the 96th minute. :(

From lampards presser sounds like torp is back and ready to start so yeah likely Eccles out and BTA starts behind striker

I'm happy with that, as BTA has done well as a 10.

When Rudoni got injured I thought we might use Torp at 10. I think he could also do well there, although - in terms of him scoring goals - maybe he is better gliding into the box from a slightly deeper position.

What it is to have choices. I thought we might struggle a bit without Rudoni 😆

Nick can you look at the possibility of doing 3 match threads just to make it easier to go through, this is the match thread and it's still 3.5 hours to kick off with 272 posts

Just feel it'd be easier to navigate if there were a pre match thread, match thread and post match thread

Coventry have already scored 27 goals in their opening nine league games this season; the last second tier side to score as many as 30 in their first 10 league games of a season was Bolton Wanderers in 1964-65 (31). Indeed, the most the Sky Blues have scored in their first 10 Football League games of a season is 28 in the Division Three South in 1935-36.

Just saw this on the BBC. Just 2 goals away from breaking our record for goals scored in the first 10 games. This includes the years of 3 defenders 7 strikers 😁 Just another record to the books.

Puts into perspective how brilliant our scoring rate is.

At 3pm it becomes the in match thread, its not that hard to follow surely? If anything an extra one would make it worse and you'd have posts in both.

Up until kick off, pre match
whilst the games on, match thread
after full time, post match thread

So you then have to scroll and remember what page 3pm starts?

Reddit uses pre, match and post which is alor easier to use and read

By all means keep it the way it is, im just putting ny 2 cents in to make the site easier to read as I do prefer the content here but reddit is alot more user friendly
