This is part of the issue, and I'm not wanting to single Bury out, but a lot that moan about the points system and much of the noise is from people who don't travel. Not a criticism everyone's personal situation or even geography, are different, but some think they have a right to pick and choose at the expense of others and is my main objection to not wanting a ballot for a % that's often suggested. It's far from a closed shop, my only caveat is that kids can't collect points and ghat somehow needs looking at as they've not had the opportunity.

They can accumulate them, but if eg parents have points and want to go as a family, they need to wait and possibly miss out as you cant buy kids tickets on their own. That means yhe parents stop earning points and they can only do a few games that go low enough. They then don't have enough to go to games when the kids arent going either in some cases. We're ok as my daughter is now older, but I know a few in this predicament.

I do think the club could improve notifying fans when tickets go on sale. I have missed a couple of chances to get tickets as I havent seen the press releases.

yeah I get twitter notifications. I guess a longer window between posting the info and releasing tickets helps. Pompey tickets went on sale ridiculously early. Or to be able to get specific emails for away ticket releases. Not all of us can sit and refresh the website daily.

1 spare ticket for Portsmouth as my son has doubled booked this and a holiday in Greece.
They were announced on 26-Sep. I got an extra one on 3-Oct when they were on general sale.

To be fair, I've got a lot less and I got one on general sale. Never look at the CCFC emails but just went on when I thought they'd be on sale and got one, no issues.
