It's going to be much harder at home, especially now we have a reputation. They will put ten men behind the ball and we have to be able to break them down. If we score early it might result in many goals as they have to open up. But the longer they hold on then it could be any low scoring result.

I would not be surprised at 0-0.

I don't think the specialist but 2nd tier Eccles is an upgrade on a bang in form and energetic BTA, who is also more likely to score goals.

Inclined to stick with BTA. He's one of the three players who have most dramatically improved under the Lampard coaching regime - da Silva and Torp being the others

Also, off topic, but why is the Ipswich game on 29th Dec a 6pm kick off? Is that right?

Birmingham v Southampton is on at 8:15pm that night too. Cold one!

Many people are still off on that date but it's still awkward for those who are back to work.

TV, I cannot believe it is kicking off at that time as it is not a bank holiday and down as a regular working day for me and many others (It just so happens I have the day off as my company give me my birthday off)

Tight turn around if you finish work at 5, may take a bit of a sledgehammer to the attendance
They'll be 30k there, a lot of places have either full or partial shut down over Christmas. I'm sure most bosses would feel fine finishing an hour early Christmas week

There's nothing going on to compete anyway is there, apart from visit the family you don't get along with, what's the competition.
