Bakayoko may have been a donkey but he was our donkey. He was with us when we didn't have a pot to piss in and helped us to where we are now.

Some people seem to have forgotten how bad things got. If a player was worth a quid we sold them for 50p so we could buy a light bulb. Those without the ability but gave 100% are just as important as those who grew with us on our climb back up the football league.

We paid for him.

In L2 we totally paid £125,000 to loan Clarke-Harris.

Pretty expensive light bulb.

When you 'help' an old lady across the street you aren't catapulting her are you ffs

Point is he is a good bloke who scored a few important goals and contributed his bit to our rise from obscurity to where we are now

Depends how treacherous the road is & how much I dislike her

and 10 goals for Baggies the season before. He's proven.
For BTA and Simms, last season was v much an anomaly in terms of their goal scoring. If you take 1 bad season, that can be forgiven so long they come back good the next season.

In the summer, despite the v many repetitive calls, we never needed to sign a striker.

They weren’t really anomalies. Thomas-Asante had a pretty average record even at Salford. Simms has really only had one other season to judge on
