It's obvious but in 4 decades from the 90s onwards the big Wembley moments hit me at my core. The two things I think about regularly are:
1. That Hamer goal Vs Luton and the sheer feeling in that moment that we were going to win the game and promotion. The relief and the noise.
2. That Torp winner. What made it special was his collapse on the floor in complete elation, while all of us were going absolutely bonkers in the stands.
I would say these moments replay in my head every day or so, I genuinely wonder whether that will ever stop. The Portuguese have a word called Saudade which doesn't have an equivalent in English, I never really understood how to apply it, but I think these moments are a good fit.
