Difficult one in midfield now. Do you let Andrews have a bit of game time or try and replace Sheaf. I can see us just targeting a bit of depth in Saka’s position and that being it. We don’t need a lot else.

If Kai Andrews rapidly develops and looks like he can hold his own in the Championship by January, problem solved. I think that’s unlikely though so would expect an arrival there in addition to a winger.

I would like a purely creative, attacking midfielder for competition to Rudi. Someone who can be a bit of an extravagant type player that makes the opposition commit, the type that makes spaces for others through movement or beating a player. We also need competition for Saka, I love him but hes not been at the same level as last season yet.

Scandi leagues are the best option in January as their season will have ended and you won't be forced to pay over the odds. Like we've seen with Torp, there are bargains to be had.

Missus is watching MAFS and Big Brother so decided to take a look around Scandinavia for some winger and 10 options for January.

Montader Madjed - RW - 20 - Hammarby

A skillful left-footed right winger always looking to take his defender on. A more powerful dribbler than Sakamoto, he also carries a goal threat cutting inside with 6 in 21 this season. Would have to work harder out of possession in our system but he’s only 20.

Filip Thorvaldsen - RW/LW - 19 - Valerenga

Very early in his career, but a very exciting dribbler who looks to take people on. 5 goals in 17 games. More of a project than Madjed but wouldn’t surprise me if he gets a big move purely because his ceiling is so high.

Oskar Spiten-Nysaeter - LW/CAM - 18 - Molde

Scored 12 goals in 25 games in the 2nd division as a 16/17yo. Had a 5-match ban for punching a defender in the head. Fun renegade who reminds me of Grealish with his play style and ability to go from a standing start to skipping past his man.

Thomas Jorgensen - CAM - 20 - Viborg

5GA in 10 games to start the season with a 7.65 average on FOTMOB. Already had one very strong season in the Danish top flight and has started his 2nd on fire. Creates chances and dribbles at a very good level (both 2+ per 90). Watch the vid and you’ll see a Rudoni regen.

Prince Amoako Junior - 18 - LW - Nordsjaelland

Nordsjaelland are the kings of finding African wonderkids and Amoako is the next in the queue. In the first 10 pro games of his career he’s scored 4 goals. Absolutely electric winger. Always looking to score. Probably already out of our price range.

Noah Nartey - CAM - 19 - Brondby

Denmark U21 regular and now a main man for Brondby at 19 after they sold some of their better players. 12 GA last season.

Amin Boudri - CM/LW/CAM - 21 - GAIS

Statistically one of the best U21 dribblers in the world with an insane 3.5 completed dribbles per 90. Perfect type of player for games where teams park the bus against us. Like this lad a lot.

Never heard of him :sneaky:

Another young talent in the Ekstraklasa we should be looking at, Oskar Pietuszewski at Jagiellonia Bialystok, Just turned 17.

at Djurgardens tonight 4-1 at half time. there’s a lad up front for them August Priske who looks a real talent. He’s only 21, 6ft 1 good in the air, lino up play and can finish.

works extremely hard too. with the curly mop of hair on his head he looks like Torp if you tortured him in the rack

can imagine he will make a big european move soon
I like the look of this player you scouted last night.

Aren't inverted wingers the in thing? Agreed that he does it regularly, but he tends to turn the fullback inside out when doing it

He also has a tendency to beat his man twice but still fails to get his cross in.

Yes he is skillful and exiting. But doesn't deliver on a consistent basis.

He needs to be less predictable around the cut back and improve his decision making.

Regarding the above, what I find frustrating is he has shown he can actually cross with either foot.

was quality mate. got his hattrick in the end and it ended 8-2.

Ure came on but didn’t do much.

the defending was horrific but the attacking play very fun and silky. must have been 10 megs during the game

I watched the highlights, some of the finishing looked great but it was certainly aided by horrific defending.

Priske looked really good. As did Andersson who played as a second striker.

Lucas Bergvalls brother played LB. He's only 21 but I wasn't overly impressed.

They also had a player come on called Tocmac. I think he scored and got an assist. Was absolutely rapid but didn't look like his passing was great.

Googled after and turns out he was in the Europa Conference league TOTS last year!

I think we'll be fielding a few calls for Torp in Jan. Now he's settled he looks a cut above other midfielders in this league and doesn't have as much time on his side, albeit he's only 26, so will be looking for the big pay day of his career sooner rather than later.

£15m player if this form continues to Jan? Similar fee to Borja Sainz makes sense to me.

Dead in the water now Charlie Hughes unless Thomas or Kitch move on. Which wont happen

Good example we can point young players who reject us in future towards though. Decided not to force a transfer through and misses out on competing at the top end while personal form falls off a cliff.

Hopefully not as I thought he was excellent against us but if he can't recover his form then this summer may have been his big chance. (Doubtful though as he oozed quality against us)

If he maintains it through to January we’ll be top 6 and it’ll take that sort of fee to prise him away. Could well see teams come back in for MVE also

20 goals in 47 apps for Djurgården. Nice. Also interesting that transfermarkt says he's mostly right footed and a lot of those finishes in the video were with his left. Can also play both wings. Sign him up!

Will he score goals and thrive in the championship tho? A notoriously hard league, could be a bit of a Priske.... Sorry about the shit joke, he looks quality! Get this done Douglas
