We have 2 to go before the international break & they are so important, that we keep this run going & stay in 2nd place .
Millwall not sold out yet , which is disappointing, as we are playing some great stuff , so to all Skyblues , do your best to get down to Millwall to be the 12th man

I would take 3 but 4 would be great. I wouldn't be surprised if we take 2 though.

Cant shake the feeling we lose Wednesday

We are fucking honking away in midweek

Will beat the racists Saturday though
The word Wednesday makes this complicated 🤪

I have faith on us winning on Wednesday. A longer break to recover and we have more than enough to beat Millwall. But Sheffield Wednesday play on Tuesday and we play Wednesday night. Then because of Sky we have to travel to play Sheffield Wednesday on an early kickoff on Saturday.

Not an ideal time to play two away games. One down South and the other up North without much recovery time in the middle.

Of course I'd take 4 points, but let's be honest, if we are serious about getting to the promised land, we need to really go for all 6.

Hopefully EMC will be available on Wednesday, but it would be harsh on BTA to get dropped after getting on the score sheet again today.

EMC gives us natural width and an overall balance, and although we are set to miss the talents of Rudoni, I feel Eccles will be useful if we need to scrap for possession in midfield.

I fancy us to get revenge for the cup exit on Wednesday, but Saturday could be harder than people expect, the Owls get an extra days rest, and that could be important as we push our small squad to the limits.

Think you might see Eccles drop and one of BTA and EMC playing in the 10.

Eccles was knackered from about the 40th minute yesterday. Which is hardly surprising given his lack of preseason and game time. So there's a good chance that he will need to miss at least one of the next two games.

I thought he did a great job off the ball. But he’s not a 10.

It depends really I think,he does possess a lovely technique and unusual for him yesterday he got that advanced enough to engineer that header back in to play?

Im a big fan of Eccles especially in the final third where he’s always composed. Just think he didn’t impact enough on the ball for the role.

Tbf he's never been managed by Lampard before, if Frank can have the kind of impact on Eccles that he has on Torp and Rudoni, then the future is bright for the lad.

Well if Adi thinks there's more to c of come, I'm sure Frank can load it.

I think we will struggle more against Sheffield Wednesday than Millwall.

Sheffield Wednesday are away to Birmingham on Tuesday night so have plenty of recovery time before their home game against us. We have to go to London to play Millwall Wednesday night so the players won't get home until the early hours Thursday morning. Then we have an early kickoff on Saturday thanks to Sky up in Sheffield.

I'd be happy with a win at Millwall and just a point against Sheffield Wednesday when normally we should beat them.
