Believe it or not, some cunts actually think you should be paying MORE tax!
The operative word in that sentence is you but of course not me. 😁

I don’t like to be this person as I care deeply in those that don’t have the opportunities that me and my family have but

My son has just started physics at uni
My daughter has just started her first primary school teacher job
My eldest and her fiancée have just purchased their second buy to let property
My wife has started a second part time job and has recruited three people (two to one private company and one at the cathedral here)
Everything isn’t great but I’m confused by the do everything down wankers

Nick and dom how are your lives worse in the last year

I'm alright jack. Sounds like your son is everything you hate, but it's alright when he does it.

I think the argument goes that the overall benefit is positive economically but it might be one that’s currently being lost in the get rid of every foreign born male (brown Muslim) immigrant as they are likely to be a sexual deviant

Beneficial to whom? not the working classes, maybe to big business and the endless supply of cheap foreign labour coming in that continue to suppress wages. maybe to the government line drawers, GDP goes up, great success! Average person on the street, no fucking chance.

Edit: also love the subtle hint at racism.

Society I think marty

It would take some time to change direction and needs a way more nuanced approach than voters are currently allowing to avoid catastrophic issues within the nhs and some other industries
We live in a globally competitive market place so there are some things we need
Maybe if we still had freedom of movement in the eu our young people would have more opportunity

Look at the issues trumps policies on immigration are having. Some positive you have to manage your borders but many disastrous

The immigrants that are most likely to be a net cost over their lifetime are those in low wage employment.

Although when you see lifetime figures thrown around they never really seem to account for the fact that a lot of low paid migration is transient and also that there's 36 million people in a country of 70 million living in households that receive more than they pay in so far from a problem isolated to immigrants.

But how do you solve that problem? If you stopped every single one of them coming into the country who is doing their jobs? Brits don't want them. We've cultivated the idea that as many people as possible go to university and everyone should aspire to have a 'good' job. There's a constant flow of articles about graduates who have applied for hundreds of jobs and got nowhere yet we have a huge number of vacancies in things like the care sector.

The care system is a prime example, we tighten visa rules and the entire care system came so close to collapse within a matter of weeks the change had to be reversed.

Our economy is reliant on a constant flow of people prepared to work for poverty wages. Until you solve that problem then you can forget about stopping migration. As soon as anyone mentions improving pay or conditions to get people to fill jobs people start talking about the economy collapsing!

Huge dilemma but all resolved by removing every immigrant that’s come in the last 18 months and yes the army to patrol our island

I doubt that. Labour will be obliterated like the tories

Things is with this, the whole rhetoric of reform voters being racist etc doesnt stack up does it?

This shows that Reform as it stands will almost get a full majority. Is the whole country now suddenly racist? I dont think so. I think the fact you can get a Tesco shop to your door quicker than a copper, waiting 15 hours for an Ambulance and no one having any money to ever do anything despite working their bollocks off says more on this projection
The majority of the country isn't racist, but in their desperation they're not particularly intelligent and easily led.

Nothing of Reform's policies, past or present, suggest anything will get any better and will likely get a lot worse. As for Farage, who supposedly has these answers, the one thing he spent half a lifetime campaigning for and could argued to be responsible for, made things a lot worse while not solving the problem he said it would.

And the obvious is that their flagship policy is to remove all immigrants and stop anyone coming in

Don’t underestimate the pull Farage has. He speaks common sense and seems to come from the heart. He doesn’t need to do this, he wants to and people will relate to that.

He’s not your typical career politician, at least he believes in what he says. Starmer is not a natural leader and comes across as a weak person.

People laughed at Farage for years, no one ever took him serious and look what he did with brexit.

When it comes to election time he has Trump and Musk on his side can you just imagine how much they are going to help him too. It’s only going one way.
Farage, not the typical career politician, who entered politics *checks notes* in 1994 when he stood in a by election. So over 30 years in politics, but that's not a career apparently.

He doesn't speak common sense - he peddles easy answers. He did that with Brexit and it didn't solve the migration problem and made many things a lot worse, so yes let's 'look what he did with Brexit'. Winning is not the same as solving.

Does he believe what he says? He backtracked almost immediately after Brexit (£350m?) and did the same last week when questioned about ILR policy.

He's a charlatan trying to appeal to the desperation of the situation to those not intelligent enough to see through him.

As it stands I do fear that Reform will win but, and you can bookmark this, he will make it a lot, lot worse.

People won’t care they’ll blame everyone else who tice and Farage say they should just like trump

The fact I work my arse off all week and have fuck all to show for it?

The fact im having my pants pulled down everytime I fill my car up?

The fact that im paying more for gas and electric every year for no reason?

The fact when I had an SVT episode of 200BPM out of nowhere I was told there was no ambulances?

The fact that the £800 a month tax i pay is going towards housing undocumented men we know nothing about to be put up in luxury hotels?

The fact that if I need a doctor I cant get one?

The fact that my weekly shop price is ballooning month on month for the same product?

The fact that if I need a copper because ive been mugged or burgled I cant get one but there will be one there if I post an inflammatory tweet?

The fact that the justice system is in absolute disarray?

I could go on if you like?
And why would Reform/Farage solve these?

Look at what he stands for. He wants money to go to the rich, so expect large cuts in tax which will only make things like ambulance services worse. He has talked about having a more American, insurance based healthcare system so if you want an ambulance you'll need to prove you can pay for it first. Let alone being able to afford to see a doctor.

There'll be less money for the police, so who's going to investigate your robbery or mugging when they've had their numbers and funding cut?

He pro big business so what do you expect he'll do to stop companies profiteering on your food, gas, electric and petrol bills?

And wanting big business profits he's more likely to reduce or freeze wages as well as reduce worker rights and protections, so people will have less while everything continues to cost more.

And with immigration, cos do you know what enables companies to hire cheap workers? Immigrants working for shit wages. So after pressure from his business buddies expect that flagship policy to be rowed back sharpish.

It doesn't take a genius that the public school educated ex City worker doesn't give a fuck about the likes of us and will not do anything to make our lives better.
