Dasilva deserves a shout out for bouncing back from a difficult outing at Leicester last week, he certainly looked good today.
MvE played well too, everyone put a shift in, 8/10 all round.
Simms put himself around we'll, and gets credit for using his strength for the third goal. Hopefully Frank has been working with him and we get to see more of what he is capable of.
I'm happy with Simms. Put himself about well. An argument could be made that he was being pulled back when he shot, but an in-form, confident striker would have questions asked, not scoring that. Thankfully, though, on 2 occasions today (BTA and Torp), we were more switched on and reacted fastest to the loose ball and capitalised on it.
Not much for Rushworth, Kitch and Thomas to do really. But, at least Thomas and Kitch stayed disciplined against Dykes. Both can easily see the red mist and gift silly free kicks and bookings, but both did well on that front today.
Torp looked ok in the first half. Looked better and got in to the game better when he moved higher up strangely enough.
Dissapointed with Wright picking up a silly yellow. Kinda put him out of the game second half. Couldn't really fight for the ball like he did in the first half. Still, coyldve had 2 goals on a different day and had the beating of their CHs from the start and bought the red card which dictated the swing of the game.
JDS had an outstanding game. But I think their RW made it very easy for him. On at least half a dozen occasions, JDS just stood still and put his foot on the ball to dispossess him with ease. Went from probably his hardest test of the season last week, to a pretty easy one today. Still, you can only play what's in front of you.
