CBS is much steeper, due to the exhibition hall and the stand touching it (where the lounges are). That stands holds far less so the other three have much more capacity.
King power is similar to st Mary’s
I think it was Rudoni that said something about walking out as an opposition player at the CBS and seeing a huge bank of Cov fans in front of you was a bit intimidating.

Yeah exactly, not sure they are so heavily compared.

The KP feels a lot smaller. I always say the same when visiting St Mary's.
The steeper stands are a real asset. Far better sightlines, more imposing, it feels larger. But it doesn't have the slightly frightening over-steepened feeling that you get at Reading.
It's a shame that the stand on the hotel side is so poor - it that was similar to the opposite stand, it would be a really impressive ground.

If the west stand was the same size as the other 3, the CBS would hold well over 40k

That’s why it looks much more impressive than the King Power

KP looks like it was built for a budget of about a £100 quid .Don't know if the West stand can ever be developed .

I like that stand, it adds a unique element to the stadium. The big issue is not being able to fill the top tier.

I've said it for years, the CBS is the best of those stadiums of around 32,000 when you factor in the amenities, sightlines, acoustics and the sheer height.

Not a fan of the club and the atmosphere was always really poor whenever we played there, but I thought MK Dons ground was quite good in terms of a bowl stadium design

A very nice ground, but I actually found it a bit sad as it’ll never be fully utilised.

Even without knowing the history, you can just sense that something has gone wrong for that ground to exist

Its the tiers, i love a good tier. If we were ever to expand i'd like something like the extra tier that was stuck on one of the stands at Cardiff. I'm not deluded like a Birmingham fan who thinks we'd need 60k, but an extra tier on one of the stands to take it up to 40ish... inject it.

Yeah, there didn't seem to be any interest from the home end at all and I think we might have even bought more fans.
The 0-0 game when Hiwula missed the penalty is one of the most depressing away days I've been to.

The ground feels like it could have a lot of potential and it felt like a bit of a more modernised CBS, but it was just a soulless experience.

Tiers aren't great for atmosphere generally.

A full CBS would be better than Stadium MK.

Otherwise, I agree that it's a great stadium.

Made worse by the laws around drinking overlooking the the pitch.

The temporary netting they have erected looks dreadful and spoils that initial view of the stadium bowl when entering through the turnstiles.

It's a very good stadium and a more unique design. The two tiers around the ground make it very difficult to make an atmosphere.
