I’d go unchanged from Oxford, we played brilliantly in the first half. BTA doesn’t deserve to be dropped and the team picks itself here on in. The only exception being Wolfenden who will probably come into the team over this next month.

Been debating
Would you prefer 5 points from the next 3 games and remain unbeaten or 6 pts having lost a game
Bear in mind it could be losing to lesser or the scabby bastards

Always take the points, 6/9 over 5/9.

I would play LW for thomas Saturday. Lesson for stupidity shown at Oxford, also sends message to team we are wanting to be relentless, no time for silly, avoidable, errors.

This will be a tough match. Keeping Sargent out will be hard and we need to be on our A game
So does it mean a debutant in the CB department, I think you could argue that there's no better time to blood Woolfenden if he's a confident and trusty character?

Sargent always scores against us so we will concede our normal 2 and hopefully score 3,but we haven't beaten these in ages.

There are people who’ve been fooled by that 7-1 freak scoreline who now think Norwich will be no problem at all. Conveniently forgetting that we ultimately were lucky to get a point at Oxford.
We absolutely battered Oxford in the first half and most other days would have been out of sight by half time.

We also scored 5 away at Derby in a great attacker performance.

It'll be a tough game but it's just the QPR game that is reason to feel confident.

I wish Latibeaudiere was fit so we can bring him on to single-handedly lose us the game again.

From what I’ve heard these lot got a decent attack (probably the second best striker in Sargent) but are vulnerable in defence.

Should be another high scoring game

I think we should do ok tomorrow. I agree that we have had a decent start albeit against lower teams and this is the toughest one we've met so far. I doubt they're that great though. We should at least get a draw but I think we could sneak the win...

I'm usually glass half empty but I fancy us to go and get a 2-0 win. We've had plenty of time to prep and players will be at it, especially at CBS. Looking at these next 3 games though, need 6 points for me, happy to lose one if we can win the other two!

Didn't realise how awful our record was against these - hopefully it's another bogey teams jinx over us put to bed come the end of the game.

It wasn't a freak scoreline. Some of the passing and movement in that first half was stunning. I'd rather we scored the majority of chances we create, than miss them (Like Oxford 1st half)

"lucky to get a point at Oxford" is a bit of a stretch, they were lucky not to be about 4.0 down at HT

but agree this is comfortably our hardest game yet

They were, but what happened to us, I'm assuming everybody was affected by the news that Sheaf was going, even the manager who didn't use his until it late Into the game ,and the crowd responded to them.

I’ve seen Norwich vs Pompey this season. They weren’t amazing.
Got some big defenders, who were quite physical. They didn’t create much at all really but perhaps worryingly scored via a set pieces/a ball into the box.
Pompey missed a pen and absolutely battered them in the last 15 mins or so.

edit: worth saying the Pompey defending was non-existent for both their goals.
