I've said he shouldn't have been shot you thick c**t.

No one is laughing about it, why are you just making things up to create drama on a forum?

If you have a personal problem with me then have a word on Saturday.

And it's Matthew David Patrick Anthony O'Dea to you Domonic
Fucking hell calm down a bit, and it’s Dominic not Domonic. What did you make of the @skybluetony176 post then? That was ridiculous, I hardly think trump would have been happy about it

any attempts to do that are branded as privatisation

You move the goalposts a lot. I think it's patronising to say that people can't tell reform from privatisation. You said two groups think the same, I think that's wide of the mark. One ignores evidence, one tends to use evidence as the basis for their positions.

This comes across as a classic example of “my side of the divide is always right”

It was out of order just but it's clearly personal as I have said nothing against Charlie Kirk and yet it is me you decide to have a pop at and call edgy. Sorry but that is how it looks. Tony's post is in another thread though so not sure why you decided to go off on one in this thread about me.

Mad situation in general, tensions are just high I guess. What do you think will come from all of this?

If I said anything untoward against you then I apologise.
I came on here last night straight from twitter, where the most disgusting things were being said

Wonder how long it will take to find the killer, have seen a few videos of someone on the roof running

I find it crazy that they haven't identified yet. Someone suggested that guy who was arrested was just a distraction.

It all seems very professional. 1 bullet, from a heavy duty rifle from some saying 300m away.

It’s got to be a professional hit surely, the accuracy of that shot in the moment. Whoever did it was clearly trained in some capacity….i reckon a sniper too
Doesn't have to be, sadly in the US you can by yourself a long range rifle easily and practice to your hearts content.

Or it could just be someone who has been in the US forces in the past.

Not necessarily. The Trump shooter Thomas Crooks clipped him firing shots from 400-500 feet away. He was a 20 year old kitchen worker with zero military background.

I know they havn't got to the bottom of it yet but i saw something on the BBC suggesting that if the shooter was on the roof where footage had suggested they might be that was only 150 yards away. I'm no marksman but that sounds like really close range, particularly in a country where you can freely practice with those sorts of weapons.

Some Benchrest shooting comps are over 900m ranges so 150 feet is pretty close.

Olympic Archery is 90m ranges

The American right act with guns the same way that the British left act with the NHS.

Any attempt at reforming it is a complete no go

Most of both sides want to keep the NHS.

Many on both sides in America still want the guns too.

yeah, you can probably learn the basics of sniping on the internet these days

He or she may not have been local to the area. But to put it into perspective within roughly a 20 mile radius of Orem, Utah - where Kirk was shot - there are 7 gun ranges and maybe a handful of driving ranges / courses.

So basically in terms of access to facilities it'd probably be easier to become a good shot than would be to become half decent at golf for instance.

I wouldn't necessarily say it needs to be a pro or specialist trained. I've shot guns on my travels to other countries and you get fairly accurate fairly quickly. A few afternoons at the range would make that shot.

I did the shooting range in Poland, was really good. It’s actually mad how heavy the guns are, you need some decent strength to be able to shoot themc

I did the gun range in Krakow too. Bloke in the back of a white van took us into the middle of the woods. Shot an AK47 and I agree was hard to control.
