If they had played today the crowd would bigger and that doesn’t fit in with the want to kill this tournament. Nothing matters in the eyes of the ecb apart from the franchise rubbish.Bank holiday Monday, glorious sunshine, not a single county side playing.
I get that there was a round of Metro Bank games yesterday but surely playing two days in a row, or spreading the games out over the bank holiday weekend isn't impossible.
Instead there will be 8 games tomorrow, bet Edgbaston will be packed for the Warwickshire game.
They keep leaving prime slots open all season. Quite a few summer weekend days without a single gameBank holiday Monday, glorious sunshine, not a single county side playing.

I didn’t even know they were playing.
seems most of the England team didn't eitherI didn’t even know they were playing.
If it’s Jacks as the extra batter no as I think he is rubbish and only gets in due to his Surrey connections.Highlights the continual issue England have with the 5th bowler. Is the part-time spin of the extra batter worth it?
I can’t stand MorganDecent start. Please don't do our usual quarter final implosion.
Sky really need to stop with this idea that all England players should become commentators.
Batsmen do tend to think they're invincible when they're going that well. This fall away started after Davies played a daft shot he was going so well before
He's a terrible commentator, not that keen on Broad either tbh. Sky have got some great commentators who seem to be getting sidelined for 'names'I can’t stand Morgan
I can’t stand him I blame him for curtailing Hains international career saying he bats to slowly, Morgan was an average bat at best but did lead the team well. He's a terrible commentator, not that keen on Broad either tbh. A Morgan special today. Close up of someone in a Bears hat prompts him to talk about how the Somerset fans always turn out for big games. Just one of many examples.
When I started going, late 80s / early 90s, it was pretty common for looping throws in to only make it part of the way and it needing a fielder between the thrower and the wicket. And nobody would even attempt to go for half the catches they make now.It amazes me how they fizz the ball in I think oh no that’s four overthrows and somebody tends to be waiting
