Watching Newport v Bristol.

Standard is obviously so poor in comparison. No pace. No real athleticism. Touch all over the place. Cannot believe we sunk that low and makes you realise what a fantastic standard of football the championship is.

Absolutly we tried, we did try for Smallbone or enquire, but again problem everyone forgets with loans especially, is they want game time guaranteed - our first 11 is amongst best in league so that’s going to be tough.

Get out and support grassroots! Whenever cov don't play I will get out and watch a team local to me, it's not the same but always entertaining. 3-3 draw and 2 red cards today in the game I saw.

Took the lad to Cambridge v Oldham for him to tick a ground off..Quality was pretty poor but really enjoyed it. Just under 800 Oldham fans in a crowd of 6.5k, lovely set up, very noisy home and away fans.
