Is there a single position where there's not a significant drop off if one of the current starters gets injured? Maybe centre half with Woolfenden coming in but that's literally it. Huge missed opportunity when none of the relegated clubs look like they're going to walk the league

Right Back the only one id say. Until Woolf is confirmed, we can't even include that just yet

Sending Rapha out on loan would be absolute madness.
People still don’t realise that it doesn’t matter how many injuries we have, Rapha will not start. Brau and KKH ahead of him for cover on the wings. Also the option to go 3-5-2 with the Wolf in.

Lampard mentioned the depth Ipswich had the year they went up. He’s had Rapha on the bench and just about trusted him to come on when we were 7-0 up.

Or 11 like it always used to be. It's 11 in Scotland.
What's the point in this deal sheets nonsense? Is it just some entertainment bollocks? Just make the window up until 9.

I don't think we just go to make up the numbers anymore, or take punts in hope. I believe we now chase perceived quality. That is why we bought Grimes in January.
We have Rushworth who was Swansea player of the season when he played there at the same time as Grimes. KKH, who was player of the season at Preston. Brau is considered to have a much higher level than where he came from. Players take time to adapt and fit in particularly from abroad.
Hull wanted too much money for Hughes and their embargo meant they dare not let him go.
I assume Woolfie is done if it is at the medical stage. By all accounts a very good player at this level.
Every other player we have been linked with by agents have looked really good and have either gone to higher placed clubs for big money or the clubs wont let them go.
The biggest plus is we have not lost anyone we wanted to. A fit Sheaf would have been too good to let go, but his recent problems means £6.5 million is good business. Bassette is a strange one, but if our coaches do not rate him enough to include him in the squad, it is best for both parties for him to move on.
Loans out look good and it appears Andrews will not just make up the numbers this season.
From now on our season is in the hands of the Gods. If we stay largely injury free, we have a good chance of the playoffs at least. There is a window in January when Norwegian players are more likely to move.

Who’s saying anything about starting? He is quality off the bench in last 20 mins as he’s shown the last couple of games he’s come on
