I’m sure a few will be delighted that the club has saved a few quid

So you dont think we could have signed players who are better than Raphael, Bidwell, Allen and Andrews.
Raphael and Andrews have looked decent backup to me as are Bidwell and Allen. We can't have a squad of starters otherwise players will get pissed off we need a mix of up and coming and solid but not pulling up trees on the bench. You are making out it's a catastrophe and frankly it's boring. Add on to the fact our starting lineup now has a lot more experience and we have cover at right back so we don't have to run MVE in to the ground again.

Raphael will come good! Needs more minutes to build his confidence, there is a good player in him. Bookmark this is will take the shit later in the season

Perspective important. Doesn’t mean you can’t be frustrated at how thin we look, but it should temper it.

We have a ground. We have kept hold of players I think not many of us thought we would.

It’s not a 10/10 but the big picture is it’s a better window than most we have (or have had since 2005).

Decent back up for a game or 2 at most. None of them are banging down Frank's door at Ryton giving him a selection headache. Our starting 11 picks itself. Outside of that we've a few fringe players that can fill in for the odd cameo here and there. If theyre all so good, why did nobody bar Saka on 86th min come on v Oxford when we were out on our arse and every player was blowing?

Raphael and Andrews should go out on loan, neither are anywhere near championship level as it stands.

We're one back up midfielder down.

I think it's a bit disingenuous to call Sheaf a backup midfielder.

He's played 30+ games for the last 4 seasons and yes he started the first game of the season on the bench but he would still get a lot of starts this season.

I'm a big Eccles fan and no problem with him stepping up, but we're pretty light there now.
