Its irrelevant really. We are looking at this game isolated as it should be. Other teams will faulter, but we are still allowed to identify deficiencies with our own game.
Ok that's not the point though, I've been doing that. 'Forget promotion' is the usual over reactive nonsense.

Pete that is utter nonsense. The players are fit. He didn’t wNt to bring them on
Hes done it before. And he says in post match interviews "we were pressing, we could see a goal coming as we were creating chances" etc. And usually, the goal comes and digs him out of his hole. Today, it didnt, and he's got to explain that now from within his hole.

Forget promotion

we need Oliver Dovin back asap Rushworth is crap

Thomas and Kitching aren’t good enough

Go all in on Hughes if we truly believe he’s the one, as otherwise we won’t do anything this season
!00% agree with this - defecnding of a very poor standard from all of the back four dare I say? jay and Milan fine going forward but caught out in second half. And nothing else can be said about how poor we are defending set pieces - its been blindingly obvious from the start of the season. Need defecnders who can defend

Disappointing second half. Sakamoto sub too late. Too many mistakes at the back leading to set pieces which we are hopeless at defending. Keeper still looks shaky. Wright should have won it at the end.
I am a bit pissed off with that to be honest

Still unbeaten in the league

Will probably strengthen in the window

Areas to address, yes.. but people losing their shit on here need to getagrip
My feeing generally, although disappointing result for sure. We’re going to be properly tested after the international break and I’m not sure our defence will stand up to it.

Saka on at 60 mins we win that.

BTA was decent today and sometimes people forget that it’s not necessarily that a different player is “better”, they are just different so the opposite defender has to instantly adapt his game.

Sakamoto instantly gave their fella on the left something different to defend against.

Poor defending today tbh. Midfielders looked tired for what ever reason in the second half. Wright though should have won it tbf. I think Lampard could have won that game much earlier had he made changes on 65. Tats immediately causing havoc. What Lampard was thinking I don't understand. Most players were off their game second half and not because of Oxford. 2 points lost during a crucial start to the season. Rushworth? Well he's cost us in two games now. Think we do need this guy from Hull at the back.

Grimes faded after midweek. Clearly Sheaf not fit enough to come on. I doubt tats was fit enough for 30mins either.

It’s a lot of minutes for Grimes this early in the season.

People who have never exercised before in their lives, let alone past the age of 30 will struggle to understand of course.

“it’s only been five games, they’re professional footballers for god sake” blah blah blah.

Ultimately if we still haven’t got anyone on the bench we trust to help change our shape or get us back in the game then we’ve not done enough in the transfer market this summer. This has been an issue for three seasons now.

Yes because Oxford are awful think it's down to FL this one we went 10 yards back second half and waited far to long to make any changes Hadji left in changing rooms at half time.
