I remember when Waghorn signed I was very disappointed.

Then he played and I was even more disappointed.

Then people on here tried to say that Waghorn was the reason for Gyokeres doing so well.

Peak SBT!

Now this thread is very well reasoned and debated and the transfers we are talking about are so much better!

I think he might have had long covid issues. Fatigue. Just a hunch. It was all very hush hush around sports players at the time.

If there's any truth in the Dasilva rumour, why, after establishing himself as the first choice LB*, would he want go and be 2nd choice behind Burrows?

*and yes, he may not be first choice for long.
Money & maybe there is truth in the Chillwell rumours. To be honest it's probably bull shit anyway, we are into silly season for rumours

As much as I’d love some new signings, we should only bring players in to improve what we have. If the scouting team doesn’t believe/can’t find available players, or the players that we want aren’t being made available (ie Huges), then it’s pointless making signings for the sake of it.

Can’t see us signing another left back and if MVE is stays we are okay on the right now. We have goals in the team and a plethora of strikers so priority has to be centre half.

Well yeah he had definitely aged somewhat. But he hadn’t looked great the season before he joined us either.
The way Robins stood by him and liked having him around the squad was a good thing. It says that he wasn't just taking his wages and going for a few beers. To be honest he might have been more useful to us than Maguire if he wasn't booed out the club.

IF it’s true I can only assume either Burrows is moving to the Prem or McCallum wants to move to play regularly …. They won’t want all 3.

Two decent sized clubs there but when Lampard knocks, it’s a different kind of knock.

Can't quite believe I'm saying this, but I woud be genuinely disappointed to lose him.
As it stands, he's our best/most preferred LB. Bidwell just isnt good enough for weeks in, week out performances and Brau is still raw. Unless this is a move to free up space for Chilwell, this is a bad move.

Dasilva just has no goals and 1 assist or something equally not good enough to go with numerous mistakes out our end costing goals. I'd take him there myself but it's BS
