What that tells me is that although we are top, most of the teams still above us in the league, are also bang in form and it will take a monumental effort to overcome them even if we maintain a high level. We are vastly improved but I think after such a sustained period without success we are clinging on tightly to what is still a tough road and a long way to go.

Not so. Looks like most are around the mid table spot?
It's all symantics and good fun. I actually did the BBC predictor thing and got us on 80 points with 3 defeats in that period. Think it had us in 5th place. I'd settle for that!

It also proves how far behind we were at the start of the season, and how much of a dent in "a promotion bid" a rubbish start of the season is

We would fail to catch Tranmere, Doncaster, Brentford, Swindon and Bournmouth. Same for MK Dons and Sheff Utd if you factor in the games in hand.

If all teams continue their form of the last 15 games we finish 6th on gd;

Doncaster 94
Brentford 88
Tranmere 85
Swindon 84
Bmth 84
Coventry 79
Yeovil 79
Sheff u 76
Mkd 75
Crewe 74

Wtf???? All of the teams above us are in the top 10 on form too, so despite our run, we need to be remain on a similar pattern simply to tread water. I hope we can, but that means form for the automatically and whilst we all hope for the play offs I think auto is beyond us. Whatever happens its been a successful campaign after a poor start and we can take plenty of positives from the excitement and buzz around the place.

We have gone from a relegation spot to GD out of the playoffs but some say we still won't make it :D

Yes other teams have games in hand, but we have points on the board now and are still in good form. We are beating all the teams at the top when we play them. Are they better than us still?

I don't know, are Shrewsbury and Carlisle better than us because they beat us?

We may be top of the last 15, but I bet we are a bit down on the last 6 form tables having dropped 8 points recently.

Most of that top 15 form was wiht McGoldrick. A striker that you could just give the ball to, Clarke is a poacher. He needs it on a plate and our service to him has been awful.

It's going to be tough, but we've got to keep our heads down and get on with it. You never know, that 6th place might just be reachable.

Any place is reachable......including in the bottom half.

So we have to keep up with our form. So do the other clubs.

We have lost 2 out of the last 12 league games. Won 8 and drawn 2. Lets pick out the 2 we lost to show we are shite and won't make the playoffs. The 8 wins were against......

Hartlepool 24th
Colchester 21st
Walsall 10th
Doncaster 2nd
Stevenage 13th
MK Franchise 6th
Tranmere 1st
Oldham 19th

During this time we have also knocked PNE and Sheff Utd out of the tinpot. We shouldn't fear any side in our division. Many will fear us. If you think any differently you are more deluded than I was when I was saying we would make the playoffs when we were in the relegation zone :D

Last 6 league games are 4 wins 2 defeats.....2 points a game. Not bad for our bad run :claping hands:

The Shrews and Carlisle defeats were an absolute killer. Saturday is massive, being the last game before the transfer window shuts. If we were in top six Robins could go and say to Joy get your purse out for promotion :p

We drew against Preston at home tho. That's in the last 6 surely? Or has time gone by quicker than I remember? Lol.

PNE 7 games ago unless you mean when we beat them in the tinpot  2 wins before that as well :pimp:
