From schmmeee's pinned contracts thread:

Bell - 2026
Allen - 2026
Collins - 2026

Sheaf - 2026 + 1 yr option

Wilson - 2027
Sakamoto - 2027
Bidwell - 2027
Dasilva - 2027
Simms - 2027
Latibeaudiere - 2027
Thomas - 2027
van Ewijk - 2027
Kitching - 2027

Wright - 2027 + 1yr option

Eccles - 2028
Torp - 2028
Mason-Clark - 2028
Rodriguez - 2028
Binks - 2028
Rudoni- 2028
Dovin - 2028
Thomas-Assante - 2028
Bassette - 2028
Grimes - 2028

Shitttt we still have Wilson, Bidwell, JDS, Lati & Simms for AGESSS.

Looks like we will never resolve our weak left back side lol. Those contract extensions were ridiculous for Bidwell & Wilson ‘if’ they weren’t based on meeting appearance requirements

No mistake, KKH had an absolute howler tonight - mishit passes, unadventurous going forward, the lot. But it’s clear he has all the attributes you’d look for in a like-for-like replacement for Milan. It will take a while for him to adjust on tonight’s showing, and it will be a downgrade for sure, at least at the start. But I don’t think he’s anything near as bad as he was tonight.

100% this.

Milan was far from perfect when he first joined. Takes alot of time. This lad has all the ingredients to be as good as or even better. Not worried at all.

I think the most disappointing thing with KKH is that non of his appearances for us have been that great so far.

I read how great his was at Preston from various sources. I even had a contractor come onto my work site from Preston who went to each home and away game who told me how amazing he was. He told me how much we will love KKH and listed all his attributes.

Maybe it’s just time that’s needed, but I was just expecting more from a guy who had a lot of minutes already in the championship and arrived with such acclaim.

It’s Absolutly wild to be questioning KKH. He’s made 2 competitive starts in much changed teams and games with zero intensity.

he’s a good player, no question.

if nothing else, his arrival has pushed MVE to new levels so far this season.

People forget MVe was pretty average over periods last 2 years

I’m sure he will come good when he has settled in and has more experience of playing our system.

I didn’t think that, even last night, he was as awful as some of our fans are saying even though he made some mistakes.

As Robins found last season, chopping and changing the back line rarely gets the best out of players

Drop KKH into our normal back four (plus rushworth) for a few games and pretty sure it’s a different picture. As others have said he’s got all the attributes but he’s a young lad getting to know his team mates, how we play etc

MvE has been questioned more than once during his city career, unbelievable in my eyes but it doesn’t take much for some of our fanbase

The more telling performance for me wasn’t him but Allen whose time I think is done even as a player to come off the bench. That has gone under the radar though.

Allen has been a one in twenty players for years. He’s just got a cult following.

Not for me it hasn't. Most the other players were just meh to me last night. Allen was beyond hopeless.

Times have changed. This time last year we were in the early stages of ‘team gelling’. Never happened until the manager lost his job. Little did we know that it would take 17 games to get 17 points.

Nervous about the Oxford game now!

Absolutely, back in his day he was decent but the calibre of player in the team back then was way worse than what it is now, therefore his quality stood out a lot more, whereas atm he’s trying to keep up with the likes of Torp, Rudoni and Grimes etc, Allen is just nowhere near that level.

Over time we need to get rid of the old guard, Allen, Bidwell, Eccles etc, and replace them with much better options so both our starting XI and bench are quality, whether other clubs want them is obvs going to be the main issue 🫠

Think it’s harsh to put Eccles in that group

Maybe tbf, I’ve just never rated him, I know he does get a few assists etc but I feel like he slows our game down too much. Although by this stage I feel like my bias against Eccles is the same as @Earlsdon_Skyblue1 ’s when it comes to Sheaf, sometimes you just dislike a player and don’t really know why 😂

I have a feeling MVE will stay for another season. He must be able to sense that we have a chance of a good season, he’s well paid and improving. He clearly loves the club and fans.
