I never buy a program but a friend asked me to buy them one on Saturday. I didn't see a program seller as we walked through car park A past all the food & drink outlets so I thought I'd just get one inside the ground. Walked all the way from blocks 25/26 around to the family stand and back without seeing a seller so I asked a CCFC steward and she asked someone on her walkie talkie & they are only sold in the ground at a small shop near blocks 19/20. I thought there were more sellers in the ground 🤔 I also got 20% off the price, £2.80 instead if £3.50, as I paid with my santander credit card, maybe it was a special offer on a very special day.

We decided to buy one as well but only seller we saw was on the NW corner, nowhere near any turnstiles and where hardly any fans are.

Got one in the shop with 20% off due to the deal.

There's normally one at the top of the steps by the A444 crossing near the roundabout.
I normally get there 45 - 60 mins before kick off and that one is often already packing up as they've sold out. Seems odd that they don't print more if there's regularly a shortage.

That will be a collectors item one day, 20th anniversary and biggest ever win at the stadium (so far), and on the day we make it ours.

This has been a bugbear of mine for years.
I now manage to get one from a tiny white stand outside block 22. It is almost against the stadium wall, blending in, surrounded by bins, queue paraphernalia etc and very easy to miss. Getting one inside the ground is virtually impossible. I don't know why the club can't designate where they are, stick to it and then advertise it - perhaps not in the programme though. They do a guide to each game online re. Tickets, parking etc. It vaguely mentions programmes are available around the ground. All very sloppy. Be specific please.

Is the one behind block 22 outside the ground? We have just moved to block 22 but rarely go in at block 22.

Can't remember last time I bought one. Little new news in it, not for the team either. Its an overpriced and full of adverts.

Used to always get one at HR. Also you either have to screw it up i n your pocket or put it on ghe floor. Thar was ok until they stopped letting the kids have bottle tops. Almost every week there's pop running under tge seats.

at one point they made it so you could get a program at every outlet in the concourse. the fact that they stopped doing that implies that they weren't selling.

There’s an electric version now too

I used to buy one at the f&b outlet in block 21.
Now I potentially have to queue twice if I want refreshments and a programme.
If you stop selling them they don't sell.
This really should be easy. Designated static programme stands. Advertise where they are. That's it.

They definitely print enough as there were stacks of them on the counter in the club shop yesterday.

I guess a seller can only carry around so many at a time, so maybe they're going to replenish stocks?

If not and they're just packing up it seems a strange thing to do if there's stock left.

I imagine they don't sell as many nowadays and a lot of clubs don't appear to do a paper programme anymore. yesterday was the first time I've bought one in years because it was the anniversary one and also against QPR so had a tinge of nostalgia.

Sounds like they need to look at getting more to the sellers. The chap at the top of the stairs is often sold out well ahead of kick off and packing away, not going to get more. The next one I go past is the one outside the main entrance and that's also regularly sold out.

If the sellers out the ground don't have them but there's stacks left over something is setup wrong.

Maybe they need to bring back having sellers walking round the pitch pre-match.

A walkie talkie or two yoghurt pots and a bit of string to say when stocks are low. Get more to the areas that sell.

Used to be someone above us who knocked their pop over every game resulting in a sticky mess below my seat - thank fuck they are no longer there

I only read it as you get a free copy in the Lounges but don’t think I would ever buy one now.
A lot of clubs have gone fully digital with it and incorporating into the clubs app( ours still needs a bit of work)

I do quite like the Stats pages with the season so far page showing all the players , goals, subs , attendances etc as a running total but this could easily be incorporated into a digital format. Also it’s a good resource for Academy and U21 info.

The days of anything interesting in the “From the manager” or “the Chairman writes” are long gone in a Programme format.

Maybe just produce a few souvenir specials through the season- first game, legends day etc.

I'd be interested to know how many we sell each week. I subscribe and have pretty much every home programme since 1983. I do wonder how many other people actually but them though.

I always get one from the seller by the Jimmy Hill statue, usually an hour before the game. Never had a problem getting one. The shop sells them as well. I can’t remember the name of the online company that sells our programmes but I’ve got them from there if I have ever struggled to get one on match day, if I’m late.

Yes on all counts!
Had the added bonus of sitting next to my mate at the weekend…before kick off she managed to spill her coca cola all over the seat infront.
I made a mad dash to grab some serviettes before the bloke infront arrived, despite her insistence that I shouldn’t bother…”I’ve got to see him every week”!
The bottle tops thing seems a bit daft. We’ll take off the lids but won’t stop you if you want to throw the bottle.

As others have said, one at top of steps by the A444. There is also normally one by Jimmy Hill’s statue.
