Proper early days but intriguing so far:

Robins effect kicking in at Stoke
Southampton and Ipswich rusty
Leicester won but feels like a sinking ship
Really poor teams like Hull and Derby
Wrexham not walking the league like they thought they would
SHEFFIELD UTD BOTTOM - HAVE IT

I would love it if the relegated three all had shit seasons. And Wrexham and Brum for that matter. A season of proper clubs fighting it out pls.

Stoke fans feeling alot of love for Robins , seems hes bringing stability and a style of play they admire .

Southampton fans praising their performance yesterday .
Fancy them to have a solid top half finish this season and maybe push on next

In L1 they had revenues higher than 5 prem teams. They will be fine.

I don't think this right? Where have you seen this? I think they have strong commercial revenues which may be more accurate? But their overall revenue would be nowhere near a premier league teams.

Happy to be corrected, but are you sure??

Surely PSR is gonna come down on them hard with all this spending? They dont make that much do they….
Could be many things. But everything they have done in League 1 doesn't count. They're allowed to make big losses over a rolling 3 year period. They could spunk most of it season 1 if they like. But if it doesn't work out in the 1st season they would be limited over the next 2 years.

The FT says their commercial revenues are due to be the same level as mid-table Prem teams this year.

Can't see Parkinson lasting the course, they are throwing money around but Parkinson isn't a Championship manager in my view, buying broadhead for 10 million was ridiculous, good player but not for that price, Doyle is a good player but they've had their panys pulled down on that deal

Think the point from that opinion was that they were good coaches, not because it was just for being them.

Boateng and Carr were never good enough.
No there were plenty of people saying that Robins was getting by as the front man but all the good work was from Adi and Dennis' coaching.
