If I recall, when Frasers bought there was a huge list of maintenance work needed to be done as Wasps had cut back.

Do we know how much of that was completed by Frasers?

Watch us go and lose 0-3 now.

Also can we actually name the stands?

Unless it’s to sell the club I don’t see the point here. Costs loads to maintain and makes no money, that’s why it’s been a hot potato from day one.

Whole I don't disagree with this, it's still a far preferable position to wondering where we goi g to be playing every few years and having the spector of playing outside the city looming over us again.

Nor everyone will agree, but if the cost of the maintenance and plugging financial gaps is decreasing the playing budget or selling a player I'll take it any day of the week to have our own ground.

A massive part of the reason why it's never made money has been crap management, confused ownership and needing to serve more than one tenant. Plus it's been half empty for most of the time it's been built because we have been crap for most of that time. We aren't in league 2 anymore.

Doug has proven he can run a business and it's now ours to do as we please with. It's a massive venue with huge potential and the area around it can be developed further too. The certainty will also encourage new and bigger sponsorship/advertising - doubly so if we get promoted.

I’m convinced the moves to sell the club began when that woman from PSG came in. This was the final piece of the puzzle.

Doug will net close to 100m if not over with this transaction

Monumental. Historic. Didn't think I'd ever see this and I feel quite emotional right now. Better than any new signing could ever be. Doug's song remains embarrassing, but I hope it's sung on repeat today, boy does he deserve it.

Over the top? I don't care. Our football club will remain in the City and should never move again. For our future generations and the future of the greatest thing in the world, Coventry City Football Club.

I imagine he'll hold out until the end of the 5 year plan (I think this is the 3rd year), as he'll stand to make a lot more if we go up.
